FSX/P3D KulusukX (Greenland)
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
36.58Mb (517 downloads)
"KulusukX" scenery package is the most real mesh for Fligh Simulator X for Kulusuk area in Greenland. This area covers more than 8,822 Sq. miles." "The mesh data is made from ASTER GDEM data. While ASTER GDEM data is not nearly refined as STRM source data, the data is the best data for Greenland. “The raw ASTER GDEM data is not without its problems, but I have remaked large areas to make it usefull. But it's not only the mesh I have reworked. The coastline and islands are reworked for this release. Tasiilaq Helistop (BGAM) and the terminal is also added to the scenery. Kuummiut Helistop (BGKM), Sermiligaaq Helistop (BGSG) and Timmiatmiut Helistop (BGTN) is added with helistops, adn some standard FSX buildings. This release have redefined land class for the area. This gives you a more realistic land class. By Abdul Hamid

There are custom CFM eco sounds included for that extra realism. Use - Instrument panel - Util for ground vehicles, doors stairs, fuel truck, buses. New Utility allows Bus, fuel, doors and more. (Go to Views - Instrument panel - Utility). VC added and edited to allow correct VC views, correct jetways and wheel levels. Credits go to TDS fantastic native FSX Boeing Max8 model. Check out a newly uploaded Stearman PT-17 Kaydet at a few landing sites in California.
Mission is from Chapman Farms to Eagle Field, California, USA.
Comment. I was fortunate to have a flight in a Stearman a few years ago.
I found it very difficult to see ahead in this tail dragger when on the ground.

Douglas C-47 Dakota - SAAF Textures
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
5.68Mb (517 downloads)
Douglas C-47 Dakota - SAAF (South African Airforce) - Textures. I discovered that there are no camouflaged SAAF Dakotas available as freeware for FSX, and that was what compelled me to create this one. I believe others will definitely find it useful too. This is according to me, possibly my best work to date. The exact model with the appropriate antennas and aerials is not available, so I had to do what I can with what there was to work with as is the case with many of my other attempts. Please excuse whatever inaccuracies there may be?
