Upgraded Soviet Lavochkine LaGG-3,
with FSDS2. By G.West. The LaGG-3 (built by Lavochkin, Gorbounov,
Goudkov) entered in service in the early months of 1941. Despite some
qualities (a powerful armament) it soon became the favourite game
of the german 'Experten' : Nowotny downed 74, Barkhorn 39, Kittel
38 etc… With the following models of Lavochkin, the La-5 and La-7,
the task of the german aces became harder. 1.1MB

Gates – Miramar “TOP GUN” Flight School circa 1986 (KNKX)
This is to be used with AFCAD.
adds more then 150 parking spaces, four of which are designated
heavy spaces. This file represents what Miramar TOP GUN flight
school, “Fighter Town - USA” might have looked like during the
1980’s. As you can see from the enclosed screenshots (before
and after) there were no parking spots or gates at (KNKX) from
the default MSFS2002 program. The parking spots were assigned
using 1994 government satellite images. While the position of
the aircraft is fairly accurate, they are not 100% correct.
The base is capable of housing more then 200+ aircraft, but
there are never at one time that many located there. Currently
(year 2002) this base has been taken over by the US Marines
and is now called Miramar MCAS. Author: Josh Liste. 74K

FAP Grumman G.44 Widgeon The Grumman G.44 Widgeon was
used in Portugal by the Naval Aviation between 1942 and 1952.
After the creation of the FAP (Portuguese air Force), some
were transfered to the new weapon and some continued the cartography
duty in the Navy, using civilian licence plates. In Portugal
were used other versions of the Grumman, such as: - 12 G.21B
between 1940 and 1952, in sea patrol missions. Note that there
were ordered with no landing gear so that they could have
more space available, the very rare G.21A "Goose". - 3 Albatross
(1 SA-16A e 2 SA-16B) between 1954 and 1962 for S.A.R missions
(Search and Rescue). Original model: Harry Follas and Scot
