Isle of Skye (Broadford) Airfield (also known as Ashaig Airstrip or Broadford Aerodrome) is a small airfield on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, with a single runway. It is next to the hamlet of Ashaig, near the village of Broadford. The airport was constructed by the Corps of Royal Engineers and opened in 1972 to serve as a gateway to the Isle of Skye. Loganair operated a scheduled service from the airfield to Glasgow from 1972. However this service was discontinued in 1988. No commercial services have existed since then, and the airfield is usually deserted although the airport is occasionally used by NHS Highland and the Scottish Ambulance Service for transferring patients to hospitals in Inverness or Glasgow. Discussions were started in 2012 regarding the reinstatement of the airfield for commercial use but, as yet, this has not happened.

FSX/P3D Captain Sim Boeing 707-300 Ethiopian Airlines 1968 Textures
(Category: FSX > Payware)
20.29Mb (273 downloads)
This is a repaint of the 707-379C in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware 707-300C by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines was established in 1946 by the Emperor Haile Sellassie, and TWA which provided technical and managerial support. Regular operations commenced on April 8 1946 with a fleet of 6 ex USAAF DC-3s. Later in 1950, 2 Convair CV-240s entered the fleet. Then in 1958, the first DC-6B arrived on the scene. On January 1 1959 Ethiopian officially became a member of IATA. The first jet services started in 1963 after the delivery of the carrier's first Boeing 720s. The 720s replaced the DC-6Bs on the European routes. In 1964, Ethiopian started a new pilot training school, installed a large IBM computer system, and also established the largest jet overhaul facility in Africa. 707s, 727s, and 737s, joined the fleet in the ensuing years. Today Ethiopian ranks as Africa's supreme air carrier with a safe and reliable service, notwithstanding the 737 Max 8 tragedy, and has a vast route network. The cherry on top was when in 2014, Ethiopian dethroned South African Airways as the "Best African Airline". Textures are 32 bit dds and DXT5 textures are included as well. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3Dv1-3.

This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

Kaman Seasprite SH-2G. This package contains Nigel Booth & Adrian Brausch’s for use in CFS2. Everything needed is included, weapons profile, weapons, textures, air file, Aircraft configuration file, sound, and panel with gauges. The damage profile includes the AGM-65G. The textures were done by me with an included paint kit. (if you want to call it that) but hey, it’s my first. The paint on this bird is fictitious in a way because these are from a SH-2F. Royal Air Force Station Lichfield also known as Fradley Aerodrome, was an operational training station from 1940 until 1958. It was situated in Fradley, 2 miles north east of Lichfield, Staffordshire, England. The airfield was the busiest airfield in Staffordshire during World War II. The airfield supported its own units as well as providing safe haven for many more. It was a control point for all aviation traffic that passed through the Birmingham area during the war and saw more aircraft movements than any other Staffordshire airfield.

0.03Mb (273 downloads)
These five missions are a set of campaigns involving Richard (Dick) Bong and Tommy Lynch of 39th Fighter Squadron, 475th Fighter Group, in General Kenney's 5th Air Force, New Guinea. The missions occurred during the Allied offensive of the spring 1944, when Captain Bong returned from the States on a War Bond drive and leave to his home in Wisconsin. Major Tommy Lynch and Captain Dick Bong were both highly decorated multiple Aces and were unassigned, free-lancing pilots. They were a two plane flight called the Flying Circus do to the multi-colored planes they were flying. Unfortunately, Major Tommy Lynch would be KIA by IJN gunboats, not Imperial Japanese pilots in aerial combat.
