This is a repaint of the Viscount 803 in KLM 1966 colors. The freeware Vickers Viscount 800 for FSX by Jens B. Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. Textures are 32bit dds for FSX/P3D3 users. FS2004 DXT3 BMP textures are included as well for FS2004 users who have the FS2004 version. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3. In June 1955, KLM placed an order for nine Vickers V.800 Viscounts, making it the first foreign company to order the type. They were to replace the Convair CV-340s and intended for use on the European network and a number of shorter intercontinental services to the Middle East and northern Africa. The nine Viscounts were delivered between 6 June and 23 December 1957. All aircraft were delivered in the old KLM "The Flying Dutchman" color scheme. From the early 1960s, all aircraft were equipped with the new KLM color scheme with the light and dark blue band across the hull with the slashes in the tail and in addition, red KLM with emblem. From October 1965 to November 1966 the KLM Viscounts gradually disappeared from the fleet. They were all sold to Aer Lingus of Ireland. A new color scheme was introduced in 1966, the blue stripes and white ball as depicted in this repaint. The few Viscounts that were still used by KLM, were repainted in this new color scheme in 1966.

Built in 1968, flew for Delta Airlines with registration N1265L, until July 1993, when were bought by Austral to replace the Bac One Eleven fleet. NpCmoveAircraft is a Lua script in the Numberpad Control family of FSX scripts that can be used to move an aircraft to a new position. Each step includes prompts for the required input and format. User inputs include the DISTANCE to move (NMs), the DIRECTION to move (degrees magnetic), the desired aircraft ALTITUDE (ft), the desired aircraft HEADING (degrees magnetic), and the desired aircraft IAS (Kts) along with the LANDING GEAR POSITION -- up (u), down (d) or fixed (f). Or for any of the five inputs the user can simply enter a carriage return (Enter key) to signify NO CHANGE for that particular entry. Prior to the move the aircraft can be on the ground or in the air. So, for example, NpCmoveAircraft can be used to simply turn an a/c around, to move it to the other end of a runway, to re-position it for another approach after landing, to jump ahead in cruise, to catch up to another a/c, etc. NpCmoveAircraft works with default FSX aircraft and many add-on aircraft that adhere to the standard FSUIPC offsets. A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the NpCmoveAircraft Lua script. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and assign a ‘hot key’, button or switch to activate the script.

I did this scenery for a gentleman who had worked at the station, but I have lost his contact details, so I would be grateful if he contacted me to put my mind at rest that he has got the scenery! RAF Snetterton Heath is a former Royal Air Force station located south east of the A11, 6 miles (9.7 km) south west of Attleborough, Norfolk, England. Opened in 1942 the station was used throughout WWII by various units of the USAAF With the end of military control Snetterton Heath was privately purchased in 1952 with a view to utilizing the runways and perimeter tracks as a motor racing circuit. The first motor cycle meeting was held in 1953 and the first motor races the following year. Today, banking and safety barriers have transformed the airfield and Snetterton Circuit is used extensively; not only for local club, national, as well as international racing, but for the testing and development of new designs of motor cycles and cars.

King Mswati-III International Airport, (IATA: SHO, ICAO: FDSK) originally named Sikhuphe International Airport, is an airport in Swaziland. It is planned to replace Matsapha Airport, which serves largely as a charter airport for small regional carriers such as SA Airlink. It is planned to handle up to 300,000 passengers per year.
