USS Essex CV-9 Campaign-2020

This campaign revision set is a mostly historical sampling of the World War II exploits of the USS Essex CV9. I say "mostly" because US and Japanese task force compositions, ship names and types, dates and most locations are as accurate as possible. The actual ship/task group formations are my own design. The campaign incorporates new scenery, aircraft, ships and many new missions, set up in 4 separate campaigns with 119 missions.
In this campaign set the USN is on the offensive. Out of all the actions in which she participated, I chose a good, representative sampling of the major engagements of this great warship from her first action until near the end of the war in the Pacific. She later served in the Korean conflict, the Cuban Missile Crisis and eve supported the Apollo missions, being decommissioned in 1969.

WW1 French Caquot Balloon

Designed for Microsoft's 'Combat Flight Sim 2' representing a World War One Allied Artillery Observation balloon, captured balloons were used by German forces just swap out the french roundel with the German cross supplied in the texture folder.
A German parceval-sigsfield balloon will be uploaded in the near future.

FSX/P3D de Havilland Canada DHC-4 (DHC-7) Caribou 1970 Textures

This is a repaint of the de Havilland Canada DHC-4 (DHC-7) Caribou in Guyana Airways colors. The freeware de Havilland Canada DHC-4 (DHC-7) Caribou by Mike Stone is needed for this repaint. Guyana Airways used two DHC-4A Caribous for domestic destinations in the 1970s. Textures are 32bit dds. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

FSX/P3D v4 Republic Airlines 727-200 1985 Textures

Republic Airlines was formed on July 1 1979 through the merger of Southern Airlines and North Central Airlines, both major regional carriers. In 1980 Republic absorbed Hughes Airwest, also a major regional carrier. By 1984 republic was the 5th largest airline in the USA (and 7th largest in the world) with over 1,300 daily flights. They mainly flew to points in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands. Northwest Airlines was unhappy with the upstart competitor, and in January 1986 made a huge $884 million bid for Republic. Stephen Wolf, Republic's president & CEO, accepted the Northwest offer. Thus ended Republic's short life. Textures are 32 bit. This repaint is in Republic's mid 80s "Mary Tyler Moore" scheme. It was tested on P3D v3, and should work on FSX & FSX-SE. Also ok on P3Dv4

Textures for the TDS Boeing 727-100 JTD8 model in Air Mali livery.
Air Mali was established on 27 October 1960. It operated from 1960 to 1988, when the Mali government forced it to close down. You need the freeware 727-100 by TDS for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FS9 & P3D all versions as well.

FSX Flight Plan for OB-96 Fort Worth Texas IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the fifteenth in a series of flight plans I have uploaded. This route goes through mostly flat and rolling terrain in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This route has two different sets of targets. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. These two gauges will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. Another option to download Version 2.1 of my mini panel which has all this functionality and more.
