FSX/P3D USAF Douglas C-124C Air Materiel Command Textures

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124C in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124C for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. Air Materiel Command (AMC), formed in 1946, was headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The USAF's research and development, and logistics were operated separately during World War II. Later in 1946 they were merged, and became the responsibility of the new Air Materiel Command. The command operated until 1961 when the command was redesignated as the Air Force Logistics Command. The AMC were assigned 3 C-124 Squadrons in the 1950s until MATS took the C-124s off the AMC's hands in 1957. This C-124, serial 52-1089, was one of the C-124s that AMC had at their disposal. It was retired from Air Force service in September 1972. It is now preserved at the Warner-Robins Air Force Museum in Georgia. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-4.

This is a repaint of the Libardo Guzman L-188 Electra in Sterling Airways livery. Sterling was a prominent Danish tour charter airline based in Copenhagen. It mainly flew to Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. You need the freeware L-188 Electra by Libardo Guzman for this repaint. Textures are in DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FS9/P3D up to v3 as well. (not P3D v4)

6th Avn Sqn is located in Islamabad, Pakistan.
It is mainly used for government official air transport especially the Prime Minister and the President. It has a small runaway so only helicopters will be much more suitable for this airfield. Enjoy! I'll soon upload more Military Airfields of Pakistan.

RAF Fiskerton was a Royal Air Force station located north of the Lincolnshire village of Fiskerton, 5.0 miles east of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England
It was one of many new bomber airfields built in the early part of World War II. The airfield was situated north of the village from where it got its name. It was one of only 15 RAF airfield equipped with FIDO, a fog-clearing system utilising petrol pumped through pipes alongside the main runway and burned via a sequence of nozzles. By Terry Boissel
