Updates for the Mig-23 Flogger X package. Original model by Alphasim/Virtavia, and FSX converted and uploaded by LLS. I left the 2D panel as is and made position and size adjustments to the VC gauges, with a couple additions, including new popup windows for the autopilot and radios. I also did adjustments to the engine parameters and light fixes. Full description and instructions are in the readme file. Enjoy!

FSX/FS2004 Sikorsky S-61N G-LAWS Textures
(Category: FSX > Helicopters)
4.64Mb (159 downloads)
Sikorsky S-61N 61-824 was delivered new to Bristow Helicopters as G-BHOF on 27th February 1980. After leaving Bristows, she became G-LAWS for Laws Helicopters until July 1999, going firstly to Air Harrods, and then to Elite Helicopters as G-VIPZ, still in the scheme depicted here. Sold to the US State Department as N824WA in January 2011, she then became N627CK with Croman Helicopters in September 2016. Repainted on to Dave Hardcastle's excellent S-61N model, this reflects G-LAWS high gloss black and gold colour scheme. I know the model will work in FS2004, but whether or not the textures will, I do not know. Enjoy.

Airplane Flying Handbook 2016 (FAA-H-8083-3)
The Airplane Flying Handbook provides basic knowledge that is essential for pilots.
This handbook introduces basic pilot skills and knowledge that are essential for piloting airplanes.
It provides information on transition to other airplanes and the operation of various airplane systems.
It is developed by the Flight Standards Service, Airman Testing Standards Branch, in cooperation with
various aviation educators and industry. This handbook is developed to assist student pilots learning to
fly airplanes. It is also beneficial to pilots who wish to improve their flying proficiency and
aeronautical knowledge, those pilots preparing for additional certificates or ratings, and
flight instructors engaged in the instruction of both student certificated pilots. It introduces the
future pilot to the realm of flight and provides information and guidance in the performance of
procedures and maneuvers required for pilot certification. Topics such as navigation and communication,
meteorology, use of flight information publications, regulations, and aeronautical decision making are
available in other Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) publications.
I know you can obtain it directly via https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies
So, that's up to you. However I value it as a most useful pdf file. In case you weren't aware yet.

DFW CV(LVG) late production 1917 V.2
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
3.95Mb (159 downloads)
The DFW. C.V was possibly the most important aircraft in the WWI German Air Force. The overriding purpose of aviation at that time was support of the ground war. This made observation and artillery spotting the primary air forces' mission and the DFW C.V equipped front line units in greater number than any other German 2 seater. It was highly successful, well liked by its crews, and was reported to have outstanding performance comparable to the F2B Bristol fighter. It served continuously from 1916 to the end in 1918. Almost 4,000 were produced, with 2005 manufactured by the parent company DFW (Deutsche Flugzeug-Werke), and under license; 1400 by Aviatik, 400 by LVG (Luftverkehrsgesellschaft), and 150 by Halberstadt (Halberstädter Flugzeugwerke). DFW C.V (LVG) late production. The model, textures. panel and air files are by Captain Kurt. The pilot figures were developed from Wolfi's freeware Japanese pilot .fsc source file. The prop spinning texture is by Kelticheart. German 12.5 kg PuW bombs are from the 'Aerocrate Misc. Uires and more.zip' by Gary Aumaugher http://www.sim-outhouse.com/freeflight/Areo_Misc.zip. Gauges are by Martin Klein, Bastian Hundt, and Horst Weingärtner.

Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/R6 5./JG2

Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/R6
by Design Team Daedalus
Unit: 5./JG2 Juvincourt, Northern France, September 1943
Pilot: Uffz Heinz Hunig
There is no "standard" Bf 109G-6, as the production run spanned 2 years, it underwent many modifications and updates along the way. So each model we have created has it's own unique features.
Pstrany developed the models using Paul Rebuffat's Messerschmitt model - with permission - as a starting framework and updated the shape, and added a plethora of details, new parts, and ideas. Pstrany also developed the models for the drop tanks, weapons and racks.
Captain Kurt created paints for each, the 2D instrument panel, the individual .dp files, the air files and the aircraft.cfg files.
Mav SCASM edited each model so that they have animated wing slats, drop tanks, and other features, as well as optimizing models for the best possible framerates. Mav also developed the idea for the 2d panel to be offset for the Revi gunsight to match the CFS2 reticle.
We have all benefited from the assistance and guidance of others in the community, Special thanks to Wolfi and Huub Vink for their kind assistance and to all who have contributed their knowledge directly and indirectly.
