A new airport has also been added to the same small island named Shamrock Ridge (COLL) with a sheer 800ft drop facing you on landing and take off right between two cliff faces. The General Aviation GA-43 was an airliner produced in small numbers in the United States in the mid 1930s, also known as the Pilgrim 150, Fairchild 150, and Clark GA-43. The prototype was developed and built by Fairchild's American Pilgrim division, but the program was taken over by General Aviation when the firm purchased American Pilgrim shortly before it had flown. FS2004 Focke-Wulf Ta-183. In 1945, as the Allies were overrunning Germany, many amazing discoveries were made, from torture camps, to fantastic aircraft. They included many amazing designs, such as VTOL aircraft, jets, flying rammers, etc... The Focke-Wulf Ta-183 was Kurt Tank's answer to the Luftwaffe's request for a high-power single-seat jet fighter capable of carrying 30mm cannons, air-to-air missiles, and a variety of other palyloads. In the end, the aircraft never got off paper. Some say, though, that the advancing Russians got the blueprints, and took them to Moscow. After many years of tweaking and changing, the Ta-183 finally took to the air, called the MiG-15!! November 1942,he was assigned to VF-17,the famous "Jolly Rogers. Alone with his aircraft bearing #29 Top Navy Corsair Ace Ira Kepford had 16 confirmed victories with the VF-17 Jolly Rogers. Ira Kepford earned two Navy Crosses, the Gold Star, the Silver Star, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, the Air Medal, Unit Commendation to VF-17, and the American Defense Service Medal. Kepford died on 1/19/1987. This Aircraft has a 2D and 3D Cockpit new Textures and FSX updates by Mark Rooks of RDG Aircraft History and pictures included in this PKG.
