The ICON A5 is an American amphibious light-sport aircraft designed and produced by ICON Aircraft. A concept aircraft was first flown in 2008, and creation of the production tooling began in December 2012. The ships visit among other places Gibraltar, Tenerife, Lisboa, Rotterdam, Liverpool, Le Havre, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Oslo, Gdansk, Felixstowe, Portsmouth, Bordeaux, Brest, Cherbourg, Antwerp and many more. The aircraft was designed by the renowned Italian designer Stelio Frati in 1955, and originally built in Italy by Aviamilano then Aeromere and later Laverda. The Falco is currently sold in kit or plans form for amateur construction by the Sequoia Aircraft Company of Richmond, Virginia.
