FS2004/FSX Macchi C.205 Package. The Macchi C.205 (also known as MC.205,"MC" standing for "Macchi Castoldi") Veltro (Italian:Greyhound) was an Italian World War II fighter aircraft built by the Aeronautica Macchi. The C.205 was a development of the earlier C.202 Folgore.With a top speed of some 400 mph and equipped with a pair of 20 mm cannon as well as 12.7 mm Breda machine guns, the Macchi C.205 Veltro was highly respected by Allied and Luftwaffe pilots alike. Regarded as the best Italian aircraft of World War II, in action it proved to be extremely effective,destroying a large number of Allied bombers and capable of successfully clashing on equal terms with such renowned fighters as the North American P-51D Mustang,but,although the C.205 was able to match the best Allied opponents in speed and maneuverability, it was introduced late in the conflict. Moreover, due to the poor Italian industrial capability of the time, only a small production run was delivered before the end of the war. Italy's highest scoring ace, Adriano Visconti, achieved 11 of his 26 credited victories in the few weeks he was able to fly the Veltro, with the top scoring 205 Sergente Maggiore pilot Luigi Gorrini shooting down 14 enemy aircraft plus six damaged with the C.205.VC only. FSX - General Aviation -- Aeroworks ARX-6 Roadrunner - Version 2 The ARX-6 is a single-place Formula One pylon racing aircraft and is built to the specs of the International Formula 1 Air Racing association. Like all Formula One race planes, it is built around the Continental O-200. This is the same 100hp engine that barely powers a Cessna 150 to 100kts but on the small extremely lightweight and aerodynamic airframes of formula one racers the top aircraft can push 300mph. With very few instruments, and less than average ground handling, Formula One aircraft are very clean "no frills" machines that serve only one purpose - flying low, flying fast, and turning left. FS2004 Junkers Ju 87B Stuka Package - Regia Aeronautica. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) received from Luftwaffe many Ju 87B-2 (and R-2) since July '40 and the 96th, 97th and 101st Grp.Aut.N.aT. were the first units equipped with them. Complete aircraft. The model, originally created for CFS2 by Wolfang 'Wolfi' Faber with Abacus FSDS_v3, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on. Liveries for three different aircrafts : the first, belonged to 209th Squadriglia of the 97th Grp., was based, during August 1941, on Derna's airport (Lybia); the second one belonged to 208th Squadriglia of 101st Grp., based in Sicilyt (Italy) during Spring 1941; the third one belonged to 239th Squadriglia of 97th Grp., based on Lecce's airport (Italy) during Winter 1940/41. FSX/FS2004 Vought Corsair F4U-1 "Birdcage" The F4U-1 "Birdcage" Corsair was the first in a long line of successful derivatives of the Corsair used in front-line service . Early Corsairs displayed undesirable landing characteristics including the port wing dropping at landing speeds and a tendency to bounce after landing. Ironically, these problems meant that the US Navy initially considered the Corsair unsuitable for Carrier Operations. Early Corsairs were therefore issued to the Marine Corps for land based use. Most of these operations took place on the Solomon Islands. Guadalcanal was the first place for the birdcage canopied Corsairs to see action. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub

FS2004 He162 Salamander. Developed to meet an RLM requirement issued on 8 September 1944 for a jet fighter capable of entering mass production by 1 January 1945, the first He-162 flew just 89 days later. Despite difficulties in production, over 300 were completed by V-E day and 800 more were on production lines throughout Germany. The He-162 was an advanced and capable aircraft but was too demanding for the poorly trained pilots for which it was intended. By Alpha Simulations. 3.6MB
