FS2004 Pan American DOUGLAS DC-4 Registration N88944, Clipper Berlin. From 1945 to 1963 Pan American had 88 C-54/DC-4's in use. From 1948 to the beginning of the sixties Pan American used circa 13 C-54/DC-4's also to Berlin-Tempelhof Central Airport. N88944 was in use by Pan Am from 1947 to 1954 and was the first DC-4 of Pan Am named "Clipper Berlin". For several months it was operated by Pan Am from Berlin-Tempelhof Central Airport on the routes to Western Germany. With FS Design Studio 2.20 complete reworked and improved model. A fictional repaint if Palestinian Airlines had a Concorde. Tested on FSX. This was made with Photoshop CS5 and images from the internet. This is my third repaint. FS2004 Zlin Z-43, another member of Z-40 family produced by Moravan Otrokovice. It was designed as a modern substitute for L-40 Metasokol in the second half of the 1960s. Its construction is based on its predecessor, the Z-42. But you can notice differences at the first sight - four seat cockpit, more robust fuselage and changed wing shape. The "Four-three", as it is dubbed in many Czech aeroclubs, is used for basic training including radionavigation, sightseeing flights and sport flying. Z-43s are also used for precision flying and flying rally. Although sometimes criticized, especially in terms of operation economy, its the most widespread aircraft of this category in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and its used by both aeroclubs and private owners. FS2004/FSX Textures only Pan American Lockheed L-749 NC86520, c/n 2503, leased to Pan American World Airways on June 6, 1947 and named “Clipper America”. Inaugurated Pan American L-749 services in 1947. Returned to Lockheed in 1947 and delivered to Guest Aerovias SA Mexico on January 6, 1948 with registration XA-GOQ. In November 1948 returned to Lockheed and reregistered NC86520. On January 15, 1949 sold to Air France and registered F-BAZR. In October 1960 withdrawn from use and stored at Paris-Orly (France). Bought by CGTM (Compagnie Générale des Turbo-Machines) for use as flying engine test bed from April 1963 to February 1966 registered F-ZVMV. From February 1966 to December 1974 operated by CEV (Centre d’Essais en Vol). On July 16, 1975 donated to the French Musee de L’Air. Preserved at Paris-Le Bourget (France). An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia.
