Helicopter_callout (Category: Prepar3d > Helicopters)
1.19Mb (84 downloads)
This is a callout gauge for helicopters in P3d v4 (64bit) It should work whether they be default or add-ons. It will not work in any other flightsim version As the name suggests it gives a height callout starting at 100ft. then 50ft,40ft,30ft,20ft,10ft. I have been looking for a helo callout for some time but couldnt find one. This is not all my own work, l have just modified existing programs and put them together. Thanks to Stefan Liebe, Jimmy Foong and Bry Hardee whose 2011, 727 callout add-on formed the basis for this program and to Doug Dawson for his dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64.dll gauge. by Carl Vokes

Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport, Idaho, for FSX
3.74Mb (336 downloads)
Welcome to the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport in northern Idaho [KLWS] for FSX! I have added the new tie-down area, taxiways (Z,Z1, and Z2), and the new Airport Operations Facility located south of runway 08/26. All the structures are custom. Airport vehicles use the proper vehicle paths and do not use taxiways. I have included a Traffic bgl that will add a number of AI flights into and out of Lewiston to other nearby destinations. If you don't want that feature just delete the KLWS Traffic.bgl file in the scenery folder. As with all my work the structures are original work. Three scenery complexity levels are used (normal, dense, and very dense). More eye candy appears with each increase.

It is the military companion of the SA342J, which was fitted with the more powerful 649 kW (870 shp) Astazou XIV engine an improved Fenestron tail rotor. With an increased take-off weight, this variant was approved on 24 April 1976, and entered service in 1977. By John Bray

FSX/P3D AT-802 Single Engine Air Tanker Texture Pack
FSX/P3D AT-802 Single Engine Air Tanker Texture Pack
89.20Mb (1605 downloads)
This is a high definition repaint pack for the FSN wheeled version of the AT-802. The AT-802 SEAT or Single Engine Air Tankers have been used widely across the world. Mainly in North America and Australia. The AT-802 is capable of operating on dirt strips and remote refill locations due to it's small size and ability to work from rough strips. This capability is widely used in Australia. The AT-802 is used widely in the US as a contracted initial attack aircraft for the USFS. But it is largly overshadowed by the large contracted air tankers the USFS uses. It's 2 competitors in North America are mainly the the Bombardier/Viking CL-415/215T Super Scooper and the Grumman/Marsh S-2F3AT Turbo Tracker flown by Cal Fire. The S-2 and CL-415s both carry more than 1,000 gallons. Making the AT-802's 800 gallon capacity the smallest of the category. It is also slower than it's twin engine competitors. Still a viable platform, used in pairs in tandem to add to the effectiveness of drops similar to the use of the CL-415, the 802s can also be used as lead / air attack platforms. More powerful versions of the AT-802 variants are currently being flight tested. The new derivative, the AT-1002 is larger and more powerful 802 was first flight tested in late 2013. It is still in development, but will be capable of carrying 1,000 gallons of retardant/water and carry nearly twice the fuel of the 802s currently. Making the 1002 closer in performance to the other aircraft in it's category. This repaint pack represents 8 liveries for several operators in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Repaints by Nicholas Mitchell.
