The Mk 18 was a refinement of the Mk XIV. It was identical in most respects including engine (the Griffon 65) and cockpit enhancements, but it carried extra fuel and had a revised, stronger wing structure. It was armed with the ā€œeā€ wing, with two 20mm cannon and two .50in machine guns, or four 20mm cannon.

The first squadron to receive the Seafire Mk.XV in the Pacific was No.801 Squadron (HMS Implacable), which received the new aircraft in September 1945 in Australia. On late Mk XVs a new form of "sting" type arrestor hook was used, attached to the reinforced rudder post at the rear of the fuselage. The Mk.17 was powered by a 1850hp Rolls Royce Griffon VI engine and used a bubble canopy.

FS2004/FSX Messerschmitt-Farnsworth 108 repaint textures 5-pack for the Guenter Kraemer freeware FS2004 Me108 B-1 Taifun, which you must have previously installed in FS2004 or FSX. Built under license to Messerschmitt by the Farnsworth Fictional Aeroplane Company, these five uniquely original yet nearly completely identical Farnsworth 108 models strive to deliver maximum airborn excitement while maintaining the meek, mild handling and performance traits we weekend throttle jockeys have come to crave in our civil aviation machines. What? Easy installation. By Tom Tiedman

Pilot Pack 2- Multi-National Pilots V1.0 for A2A WoP2 aircraft.
10.18Mb (325 downloads)
Pilot textures for ALL A2A Simulations "Wings Of Power 2" WWII Fighters add-on for FSX ONLY. Inlcudes DDS files - You must have A2A WoP2 "fix" updates installed. This set of textures includes 38 variations, between Negro, Latino and Asian faces; white, red, blue, yellow, green, and WW2 helmets; and blue, olive drab, or WW2 flight suits. In most cases these new texture files will change the appearance of the pilot figure from 1940's vintage attire to 1950's. Due to the 3D model, these textures are not an attempt to reproduce any attire beyond the 1950's. Repaints by John O'Reilly, based on original textures by A2A Simulations.
