In the 1930's Edward R. Armstrong dreamed of building floating airports across the Atlantic Ocean. Aircraft of the era would have used these seadromes for rest and refueling stops. The idea was studied by the U.S. government but deemed unfeasible. This scenery file includes links and historical articles about Armstrong's grand project. This is a final upgrade version of my original model of the Messerschmidt BF110C, which was used in the Battle of Britain. The primary improvement is a very detailed DVC by Bismarck13, William Dickens. The model has breakable parts and is multi-LOD for good FPS, It features full animation, except for the canopy, including steerable tailwheel. She has a nice 2-D panel by Paul Metcalf with AP,ADF and GPS panels. Her skin is from ZG26 by Sopwith Chameleon, who has done a number of alternate skins...all of which should fit this new version: http://sopwithc.wetpaint.com The 110C serves as a great player aircraft. She will also serve very nicely as an AI...and give you a hell of a fight. Installation: After unzipping the download, place the TR_Bf110_C folder in your CFS2/Aircraft folder, and place all of the gauges from the Gauges folder in your CFS2/Gauges folder. That's it. FSX Douglas XB-19 The Douglas XB-19 with a wingspan of 212 feet was the largest airplane ever built before the B-36. This is a native FSX Acceleration project. It features reflective .dds textures, reflective glass, and the normal animations plus cowl flaps. The VC has animated flight controls and working gauges. The gauges at the flight engineer console also work. A camera definition has been added to the extensive flight deck. There is no 2D panel. By Paul Clawson

This scenery covers the western part of Lake Powell, the city of Page (KPGA), the Vermillion Cliffs, Glenn Canyon just south of Glenn Canyon Dam, the northern part of Marble Canyon, Paria Canyon, Cockscomb, etc. By Gottfried Razek.

FS2004/FSX Bryce Canyon National Park (KBCE), Utah (UT) photo-scenery. Despite its name, Bryce Canyon is not actually a canyon that was formed by a river, but rather a giant natural cliff shaped thru erosion by wind, water, and ice. Bryce is distinctive due to its geological formations, delicate and colorful pinnacles called hoodoos that are up to 200 feet high. The bizzarre forms and red, orange and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views. Unfortunately the hoodoos are too small for the elevation mesh in flight simulator. But you can enjoy the colors and shape of the cliffs. The cliffs in main region of the park, just south of the airport are partly covered by snow. But on the southern and western part of the plateau you can enjoy them free of snow. Bryce Canyon is named after the Mormon pioneer Ebenezer Bryce who settled in this area in the 1850s. It was designated as a national park in 1928. Bryce Canyon Airport (KBCE) just handles small aircraft on a daily basis. By Gottfried Razek.

FS2004/FSX Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument/East, Escalante (1L7), Utah (UT) photo-scenery. This scenery contains the eastern part of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
