FS2004 Grumman F3F-2 Textures
(Category: FS2004 > Vintage)
2.54Mb (1519 downloads)
This is a Repaint and Flight Dynamics Update of the excellent "FS2002/FS2004 Grumman G-22 Gulfhawk II." by Kazunori Ito. This is a repaint of the G22 as the F3F-2 that is currently sitting in the "National Naval Aviation Museum" in Pensacola, FL. (http://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/). It's as close as I could get based on the pictures I have of the actual aircraft.
You will need the "FS2002/FS2004 Grumman G-22 Gulfhawk II." by Kazunori Ito. for this to work.

The Most Dangerous Airports: Toncontin
(Category: FSX > Missions)
15.90Mb (15186 downloads)
I have created the next in, The Most Dangerous Airport Mission Series: namely Toncontin. The missions are real and hectic, both for you and the aircraft. The flight is a scheduled Continental Airlines flight. The Toncontin Intl is rated by some as the most dangerous airport, due to it's approach, it has a 180° left bank, just before landing on runway 02. The airport is not so famous for this approach and numerous accidents have closed the airport in 2008 but it has been reopened after a serious upgrade.
The setting are as follows: Time and weather are set as Online Day Weather and Stormy FSX Day weaqther. Due to the runway 02 approach not being programmed into FSX, ignore the ATC vectoring and fly the approach indicated on the GPS and mission pointer. The approach is adapted from the real approach charts.

Pilatus PC12 Package
(Category: FSX > Props)
29.66Mb (17823 downloads)
AFGs terrific Pilatus PC 12 with FSX modded panel. I've created new VC and 2d panel layouts with default FSX gauges and new textures. It wasn't possible to make an exact PC12 panel with these, so its more of an artists impression. My goal was to make the aircraft flyable from the VC, but have also added 2d popups to cover functions not modelled.
Includes both small and large winglet versions, and effects. Tested in FSX Sp2. A few minor bugs listed in the readme, but still a very enjoyable aircraft to fly.
Permission asked for from AFG. All credit for this aircraft, textures and sound files goes to AFG.

Ice Station Scenery Package
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
6.92Mb (1742 downloads)
Part II of 'Russian Skies Series'--Scenery and Flights: Numbers: 1079, 1086, 1083, 1086, 1090, 1072, 1103, 1084, 1086, 1085, 1077, 1090, 1072( Gold Coin)). Gold Coin Air Station was built in 1964 and since then it has become a 'Cold Weather Survival School' for the Russian Navy. Once a year other Navies are invited to the 'Gold Coin two weeks Special Super Cold survival training'. This year the British, Greek and American Navy have agreed to participate. The Gold Coin Station is located almost at the North Pole and has to be provided by sea and air the needed supplies every three months. The flight usually leaves from KRASNOYARK__ stopping at_ALYKEL____ for special anti-frost boots which wear out very fast. On this flight a another stop will be made at the hometown of Admiral Georgeol Kraprinsky in _SAKLIN___ (New Landclass, airfield and scenery here) since he has to return after a three week vacation with Avna, his wife. There is a complication: The American C-130 participating is lost in some mountains and a SAR operation has been mounted and the weather station called 'North Star' must be re-supplied since they ran out of gas. Pilots participating in this scenery and flights should have some experienced flying in very cold weather. Do take your yellow socks for luck if you go to the meeting.
