FS98/CFS Lockheed L-10 Electra
LAN-CHILE Air Lines.
The Lockheed L-18 Electra was an old chilean liner of the World War II era.
The beginning of the World War II in Europe, renders difficult the arrival of spare parts from Germany for the Ju 86z LAN fleet. Due to such facts, LAN begin the negotiations to acquire new planes Lockheed Electra A-10, that with so much success was manufacturing the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation of the United States.
Around the beginning of 1941, were received the first three Lockheed Electra. The others three Electra arrived on 26 August, completing a fleet of six.
The Lockheed Electra shared his duties with the Potez, Fairchild, Lodestar, DC-3 and Martin 202, on LAN service on that ages.
Propelled by two WASP JR.B of 450 HP engines, they could transport 10 passengers at 280 Km/h of cruise speed, with 04:10 hours of flight autonomy, with maximum load.
This was the first plane of LAN equipped with ADF (Automatic Direction Finder), modern and valuable help that was permitting to establish in automatic way the position of the aircraft with respect to land radio stations.
As in those years yet wasn't existing in Chile the current NDB (Non Direccional Beacon) net, the pilots were using the broadcasting radio stations to be located, using the Electra's ADF.
The last three Lockheed Electra were sold to CINTA Airlines in 1952, ending them service on LAN CHILE, and being replaced by the De Havilland Dove.

Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile
The Chilean Army Air Corps, (later Chilean Air force) operated six Junkers R-42 between the years 1926 to 1938, mainly in bomber duties, transport, training, reconnaissance and liaison.
On january 1930, the Junkers R-42 registration # J-6, equipped with floats and leaded by Air-commodore Arturo Merino Benitez with Cap. Alfredo Fuentes as co-pilot, reached the city of Punta Arenas (Magallanes Straits), in the first flight from the heartland until the Chilean most southern city, opening the route Santiago-Punta Arenas.
The last Junkers R-42 was scrapped in 1938, being replaced in bomber duties by the new german Junkers Ju-86k.
Note: The Chilean Air Force was created in 1930. Before, the military planes are operated by Chilean Army Air Corps, with different badges to the current. This virtual model have the old markings with colored roundels instead of national coat.

Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile
The Chilean Army Air Corps, (later Chilean Air force) operated one F-13 and one A-20, single engined, Junkers planes, between the years 1924 to 1926, mainly in bomber duties, transport, training, reconnaissance and liaison.
The Junkers F-13, was a first passenger plane in crossing the Andes mountain chain in 1925 (with four passenger), but few months after crashed in Antofagasta region, during a training raid to the desert north region, resulting destroyed but without casualties.
Note: The Chilean Air Force was created in 1930. Before, the military planes are operated by Chilean Army Air Corps, with different badges to the current. This virtual model have the old markings with colored roundels instead of national coat.

The Chilean Air force operated the Junkers Ju-86k between the years 1938 to 1943, mainly in bomber duties, transport, reconnaissance and liaison.
This plane replaced to the old and obsolete Junkers R-42 bomber, in service since 1926.
The beginning of the World War II in Europe, renders difficult the arrival of spare parts from Germany, and due to the refuse of USA to providing american engines for "german planes", the Ju-86k was scrapped in 1943, being replaced in bomber duties by the AT-6 Texan and B-25 Mitchell.

FS98/CFS Douglas DC-6B Twin Pack
LAN-CHILE Air Lines & Chilean Air Force FACH.
The Chilean National Air Lines LAN operated the Douglas DC-6B between 1955 to 1968, being sold to the Chilean Air Force, who operate them to 1980 (some converted to C-118 for cargo duties).
The modern four-engined plane with capacity for 100 passengers, was destined by LAN to flight national and international routes, opening the comercial flights to Isla de Pascua (Easter Island) on central South Pacific.
On April 1962 the DC-6B registration #406 equipped as VIP plane, war used as "Air Force One" by the president Jorge Alessandri Rodriguez on his presidential tour to United States, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador and Peru.
During "Beagle Crisis" with Argentina in 1978, the FACH's Dc-6B received camouflage in green/tan colors with low visibility markings, operating as tactical transport on southern border regions.
Aircraft model is fully animated: moving gears, control surfaces, flaps, propellers, landing lights, with ficcional armament of 2 x 0.30 machine guns in the side windows.

I use this repaint in fsx but it may work in FS2004 as well. The real Eagle is a twin engined AS355
