FS2004 F-105 Thunderchief Package. D, F Models included. 'Thud' first flew in 1955 and was intended as a tactical nuclear bomber. It excelled however in the all-weather strike role during the Vietnam conflict, where the type was used intensively to protect the bombers from the SAM threat. The F-105D was the standard single-seat model used by the USAF in many varied strike roles through out its service. FS2004 BAC 167 Strikemaster. The BAC 167 Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T.Mk 5. The Strikemaster was modified with an up-rated engine, wing hard-points, a strengthened airframe, new communication and navigation gear, up-rated ejection seats, a revised fuel system, and shortened landing gear. First flown in 1967, the aircraft was marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft. A total of 146 were built. This model is very detailed and features highly reflective metallic skin and full animations. The panel background is based on photographic material found on the net. Some gauges are default and all the others have been created by the author. FS2004 Dassault Mirage F1EQ-6, IrAF textures only. This is a repaint of the Mirage F1C-200 (F1V25.zip here) by Kirk Olsson. It is painted as a F1EQ-6 from the Iraqi Air Force during the late 1980's "Iran-Iraq war". The advanced F1EQ-6 model and the newly delivered French Matra Super 530D finally gave the Iraqis the edge against Iranian F-14A Tomcats and several were shot down in air-to-air combat during the last phase of the war. FS2004 Dassault Super-Etendard. The Super Etendard is a carrier-based single-seat strike fighter first introduced into service in 1978. It is an updated version of the Etendard IVM. Based on experience gained during the Korean war (1950-53), French authorities drew up specifications for a light interceptor. This definition was rapidly assimilated into a program for a light tactical bomber that could also fulfil an air superiority mission. At the same time, NATO published its requirements for the LWTSF (Light Weight Tactical Strike Fighter). In response, the Dassault company presented its Mirage and Etendard aircraft. Capt. I.
