Alphasim FS2004/FSX Late Mk.IX textures only. It is the mid-70s and after years of absence, there is a Spitfire that is about to take to the skies in South Africa. This came about due to the acquisition and the funded restoration project led by Larry Barnett. Evelyn as she was affectionately known was named after Barnetts wife. Her first flight after restoration (and others) was undertaken by Lieutenant General R.H.D. "Bob" Rogers, the then most highly living decorated pilot of the South African Air Force, whose career started in WW2 flying clipped-wing Spitfires in Italy from 1944 on wards under the colors of 40 Squadron, the exact badge which appears on Evelyn. He then went on to serve in Korea where he flew P-51D Mustangs and F-86 Sabres. Sadly one day in 1984 while landing after her display flight at our Margate air show, the then pilot (Not Rogers) whose name is not known, applied too much breaking power causing substantial damage to Evelyn. She never flew in South Africa again and was believed to have been sold to the US. Local simmers. Textures by A. Ludick.

To cut a long story short, I made minor revisions to an existing Section F8 Sabre texture to replicate the one as was flown by my late dad's cousin, Lt. Hank Ludick while serving in the South African Air Force in Korea in the early 50s. Revised textures by A. Ludick.

'Fantasy Midnight Express' textures for Milton Shupe's FSX Rockwell Aero Commander 685

This is only a textures repaint for Jan Visser's C-47v3 virtual cockpit

This is the second version of FSX port-over of Brian Gladden's GA8 Airvan, initially designed for FS9. With permission of the original model designer there were made some improvements of exterior and interior texture, vitual cockpit, aircraft configuration, flight dynamics and sound files. The FSX aircraft is operated from VC only, but has several auxilary pop-up panels to expand control capabilities (mini-panel for external view flight; display, providing detailed engine operations features; pedestal panel with engine, pitch trim, wing flaps and parking break controls). The FSX GyppsAero Airvan package represents two plane options - GA-8 with Lycoming IO-540A1K1 engine and turbocharged GA-8 TC-320 with Lycoming TIO-540-AH1A. Unfortunately, due to the original model limitations the second option exterior is not authentic visually, as the turbocharged plane has a 3-blade propeller. Meanwhile MP/FP and RPM gauges for both engine options looks properly.

The TU-128 was launched in the sixties and was the heaviest and fastest fighter at this time. Original design by Dimitri Samborski and Oleg Tchernikov. Adaptation to FSX, 2D panels for wide and standard screen, gauges and GPWS callout by Philippe Wallaert. Has a non functionnal VC (if someone can help!). See instructions in the readme.txt file. FSX/P3D Boeing 737-700 Transavia Package with enhanced VC Contains both winglet and non-winglet models. Dutch low cost airline Transavia currently (2016) operate 8 Boeing 737-700 aircraft from its base in Amsterdam Schiphol airport. Wonderful FSX native model by TDS/ Tenkuu Developers Studio with advanced 737-800 VC added. Includes utility for ground services, Passenger bus, cargo, stairs, refuelling truck etc (find it under - Views(FSX) (or Vehicle -P3D) - Instrument panel - Util) The wonderful native Boeing 737-700C model from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC, correct models and configs, into a FSX assembled aircraft. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. I have added the high quality textures by Stefan Bree. Model is not modified in any way. Exits corrected.
