FS2004 Blohm & Voss BV P.170 Red Bull Air Racing Repaint. Repaint of Kazunori Ito's Blohm & Voss BV P170. This is a fictional repiant obviously as this aircraft never took to the skies in real life. FS2004 Bell X1 V1.0. Includes a VC (virtual cockpit) ,animated suspension and controls, reflective textures Etc. The Bell X1 was rocket powered and carried approx 5 minutes worth of fuel and was normally dropped from a mothership ,usually a B-29 adapted for the purpose, although it was originally designed for conventional ground Take-offs, a feat which Chuck Yeager succesfully completed on January 5th 1949. I was unable to make it rocket powered in FS2004 (Rockets are not supported in FS2004) so it is set up as a Jet. The thrust settings are what they would have been from the rocket so this ac will achieve realistic speeds.
