          FS2004/CFS2
            Bristol Bombay.
The Bombay was built to the Air Ministry Specification C.26/31 for
a monoplane aircraft which could carry bombs or 24 troops. Despite
the all-metal construction, the Bombay retained some features which
were outdated at the time, such as its fixed undercarriage. Outclassed
for the European theatre, it saw service in the Middle East, replacing
the Vickers Valentia. Credits: The model, dp and textures are by William

          CFS2
            SIAI Marchetti SM.84.
In 1940, the Regia Aeronautica received a new addition to its bomber
force, the SM.84, that was designed to replace the SM.79, but which
never succeeded in equaling the performance of its illustrious predecessor.
This was principally due to its lack of maneuverability, making it
anything but ideal in the role of torpedo-bomber, and due to the general
lack of reliability of its Piaggio P.XI engines. The model is made
by William Dickens The airfile and dp are by Pedro Paulo Rezende (Peperez)
The panel .bmp is by Phil Perrot (from the Alphasim Collection). 1.3MB

            CANT Z.1018 "Leone" (updated version).
Arguably the finest bomber produced in Italy during World War II and
fully a match for any medium bomber produced by Germany or the Allies,
the Leone (lion) appeared too late to influence Italy's fate in the
war and was therefore built only in very modest numbers. Credits:
