FSX Alphasim's SR-71 2D panel and Virtual Cockpit. This is a simple cockpit to make the cockpit of the freeware SR-71(above) usable. It will not be as high a qualility as I would like because Alphasim understandably strips a lot off the aircraft when they released it as freeware. FSX/FS2004 Piaggio P-180 Avanti Package. The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. FSX Rockwell X31. The X-31 was designed to break the "stall barrier", allowing it to fly at angles of attack which would typically cause an aircraft to stall resulting in loss of control. The X-31 employs thrust vectoring paddles which are placed in the jet exhaust, allowing the aircraft to maintain control at very high angles. The X-31 also utilizes computer controlled canard wings to help keep the aircraft stable at high angles of attack. The model features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels, drag-chute and so on. The livery provided with this model and the panel background have been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found in the net.
