Aeroplane Heaven's Grumman F9F Panther is flyable in FSX but the instrument panel contained many old gauges that only worked in FS9 or earlier versions. This modification uses default FSX gauges where necessary. There is some minor tweaking of the panel background but I have attempted to maintain the "old school" appearance of the original panel. This Mission will allow pilots to search for Hurricane Bill until it dissipates. You can used it to find other hurricanes as the season continues. You will need Hi Fi's "Active Sky" weather program since it's the only one that depicts a hurricane perfectly in FSX. I have used the Orion P3 in NOA's livery as the default aircraft but you can use any you desire. Have a good flight hunting Hurricanes.

FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 Amphibious Floatplane Bartini Beriev VVA-14 in two versions. This strange looking aircraft was a soviet prototype for an amphibious concept, planned for a VTOL version with 14 engines; therefore the name VVA-14. The first version was a konventional one with gear but no floats and made its first flight in September 1972. Later inflatable rubber floats were installed but the aircraft was not able to go airborne. Finally the inflatable floats were replaced with solid floats, the bow was streched and got two additional jet engines. The design gives you no answer if this monster is an aircraft, a hydroplane, a flying catamaran boat or an alien spaceship from starwars. The wreck can be visited at the Molino museum near Moscow. The second prototype went lost in a fire and the VTOL version, planned for anti submarine warfare, was never built. As FS-model you can fly both version of the first prototype with great handling on ground, in air and on water: One with animated inflatable rubber floats and the other with solid floats. This is Alpha Bleu Ciel's Grumman F-8 Bearcat updated For Flight Simulator X . This Bearcat is Painted as N7825C originally wore U.S.Navy BuNo 122674. Its Grumman construction number is D.1227. It was built in 1948. E. Weiner of Los Angeles registered it under its current tail number in 1958. It was bought by Leo Demeers of Aurora, Oregon in 1963. Richard Tobey of Newport Beach, California in acquired it in 1966 and then sold it to Paul Finefrock of Hobart, Oklahoma in 1969. Gary Levitz picked it up later that year. It has belonged to the Confederate Air Force since 1972. It underwent a major rebuild from 1989 to 1991.
