The YF23 was a twin engined stealth fighter demonstrator. Two prototypes were built and the goal was to replace the F15C in competition with the LOCKHEED F22 Raptor. Original model by Daniel Buchter. This is a patch for my panel. Seems I overlooked copying the VC Cockpit to the config. Also made some changes to the bitmaps and replaced a few of the gauges to enhance the realism a tad. I apologize for the over site.

This Mission will allow pilots to search for Hurricane Bill until it dissipates. You can used it to find other hurricanes as the season continues. You will need Hi Fi's "Active Sky" weather program since it's the only one that depicts a hurricane perfectly in FSX. I have used the Orion P3 in NOA's livery as the default aircraft but you can use any you desire. Have a good flight hunting Hurricanes.

This is Alpha Sim's freeware P-80 Shooting Star For Flight Simulator X. This is 45-8490 / FT-490 currently on display at the Castle AFB Museum, Atwater, California. She wears a single MiG-15 kill marking under the cockpit .On November 8, 1950, the first jet-vs-jet aerial combat took place between a P-80 Shooting Star and a MIG-15 in the area in northwest Korea later known as "MIG Alley." Several days prior to the fateful day, MIG-15 jets had been encountered by U.S. AF F-51Ds on patrol near the Yalu River area. On the afternoon of 8 November, Lt. Russell Brown piloting his Shooting Star of the 16th Fighter Squadron, out maneuvered two attacking MIG-15s, tacked onto the tail of one of them, and poured .50 caliber fire into him until the MIG exploded.
