The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the backbone of the Luftwaffe's fighter force. The Bf 109 first saw operational service in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War and was still in service at the dawn of the jet age at the end of World War II in 1945.The first redesign came with the E series. The Bf 109E (Emil) introduced structural changes to accommodate the heavier and more powerful 1,100 PS (1,085 HP) Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine, heavier armament and increased fuel capacity. (also FS2002 included): This package contains the training
version textures for the Canadair CT-114 Tutor used by the
Canadian Armed Forces. Included are samples of the Big 2,
and FIS paint schemes. Also included, the Raven, Golden Centennaires,
the 75th Anniversary, and the AETE (new & older paint). Within
the zip is a cfg/air files for FS2002. This project was done
by VCDG and textured by Mapleleaf Imaging. 14.5MB

Kai Tak Real Taxiways, Gateways and Tower

Real Taxiways, Gateways and Tower for the old Hong Kong Kai Tak airport. Added gates and parking to the airport, added radios (a tower, departure, ground and ATIS).
Also navigational aids (a glideslope, ILS landing system, markers and PAPI 4 lights).
Plus improved the layout of the aprons and taxiways, and all the taxiways are named. Created using afcad 2.21 by Lee Swordy.

FSX Mig-17F Updated

This is an update of my earliar FSX update of the Mig-17F by Kazunori Ito. The package features the original paint plus four beautiful repaints by Mike Pearson, each of them assigned to three different models (clean, tanks and tanks + weapons). I've changed several things for improvement incuding flight dynamics, VC wiew, popup windows with radio and GPS as well as VC light plus I added afterburner effect as the Mig 17, unlike her predessessors, was equipped with it. The VC is static with non-functional gauges. Thanks to Kazunori Ito for the original model, to Mike Pearson for the repaints and to Erwin Welker for the new camera views. All new updates and new FSX gauge configuration for the 2D panel by Michael Pook.

The rocket boosted F-104A's used by USAF Test Pilots School and NASA astronaut candidates to experience weightlessness and practice vehicle control techniques in a near space like environment. NF-104s achieved altitudes of over 100,000 feet using a "zoom" climb technique assissted by a 6000 lb thrust rocket motor mounted in the tail just above the J-79 turbojet engine afterburner.
