This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on other freeware and payware planes. I am proud to present to you my new realistic and accurate (And probably the most realistic) Boeing 767 Rolls-Royce RB211-524G soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. This will work on the 747-400 with the same engines, but it's more focused and intended for the 767. The interior sounds are mainly from a first class passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System in the cabin along with the air conditioning, which shuts down automatically when you start the NR. 1 engine. You hear the famous RB211 whistle sound at idle after you have started the engines, and then the A/C cuts back in. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the RB211 engine's fans. Pretty much every engine sound in this soundpack has been recorded from a real RB211 engine! Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation siren, stall clicker, overspeed siren, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps lever, rolling rattles and bumps, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent RB211-Powered Boeing 767 aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew on board a RB211-powered 767 aircraft, that you'll quite impressed by these sounds. BrightStar Swift for FSX and FS2004 The SWIFT, for SWept Wing with Inboard Flap for Trim, was designed by a team at Stanford University led by Dr. Ilan Kroo, and developed through a collaborative effort with BrightStar Gliders as a high performance foot-launched sailplane, Although it is a fully-cantilevered rigid wing with aerodynamic controls and flaps, it weighs only about 100 lbs and is easily transported on the top of a car. Almost doubling the performance of conventional hang gliders at the time it was introduced,it dominated several competitions and was subsequently allowed to compete only in a separate class. Many pilots have flown the SWIFT for 100-200 miles. BrightStar originally manufactured SWIFTs in the U.S. but subsequently sold the licence to the Belgian company Aeriane This model made with g-Max features full aircraft animations and a running pilot during landing and take-off,detailed VC cockpit and custom built gauges. CalClassic's Convair 580 for FSX SP2/Acceleration. This FSX Native conversion and enhancement of CalClassic's Convair 580 model. The basic mesh is back from FS2002 days and got improvements over time, but it never really arrived in the FSX world. I've always liked the Cv-580 for its paddle props, performance and the "1970s regional airline from the USA" feel, so I've asked Tom Gibson of CalClassic for the latest GMax source files of the model. After a long process that was way more than a conversion, you're still stuck with the same basic model, but with many, mostly smaller enhancements and fixes. It's not perfect at all, but I did what I deemed being feasible and I think the model is just fine now. The VC rain and the wipers are actually more of an experiment that I left in because it simply looks cool and, for one of the few times in FSX, gives the wipers an actual purpose instead of just wiping for the looks.
