FS2004/2002 McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom, 74 Squadron, RAF - early 1990's. FOR FS2004/FS2002 ONLY This aircraft represents an RAF Phantom F-4J 'XV423' of 74 Squadron based at RAF Wattisham,UK. 74 Squadron were re-formed on Phantoms on October 19th 1984. The Squadron was fully operational by June 30th and together with 56 Squadron - also at Wattisham- formed part of the UK Air Defence Force intercepting Russian aircraft over British airspace. 74 Squadron were the last RAF unit left operating the Phantom when the type was retired from RAF service and scrapped in the early 1990's. 74 Squadron were then re-formed on BAe Hawks at RAF Valley, marking the end of nearly 3 decades of Phantom service in UK air defence. I updated the Antti Pankkonen and Brandon D. Henry FS 2004 HH_65C package: including all the original gauges for the 2D and VC panels, Adriano Martoni's AS-365 sound set, 38 textures & thumbnails. Has both working 2D and VC panels. I am also uploading a texture package to give it 78 textures in all.

Texture of the VFA-163 Ark Angels F/A-18F NJ106 from the movie Behind Enemy Lines for the freeware Team KBT F/A-18F. Repainted by Mike Durao of UKMIL. VFA-163 are a long-retired squadron whose planes were represented by VFA-122 aircraft in the movie.

Dubai based airline is the largest operator of the Airbus A380-800 aircraft with 82 in operation (2016) and a further 60 on order.
