Designed to Air Ministry Specification 2/44 the Brabazon was, at the time of it's construction, one of the largest aircraft ever built, being sized roughly between the much later Airbus A300 and Boeing 767 airliners. Despite its vast size, the Brabazon was designed to carry a total of only 100 passengers, each one being allocated their own spacious area about the size of the entire interior of a small car. Designed to pre-war airline standards, the 8 Centarus-powered Brabazon was probably at the practical limit for a piston prop-liner, and was deemed un-economic in the post-war climate, with no orders forthcoming. Often considered a failure, the Type 167 more than met it's design specs, was a pleasant, well mannered machine that pioneered fully powered flight controls, gust alleviation systems, electric engine controls, high-pressure hydraulics and advanced construction techniques. 60% of the program cost went into capital improvements at Filton and elsewhere that served the British industry well in the jet-age. The final verdict must be that the aircraft was a completely successful prototype showing what to do, and what not to do. FSX native update of the JBK Brabazon, which features a full interior, a very nice front office you could park a Rolls-Royce in, tight modelling, smooth flight model, a great autopilot and slippery frame rates. The Fiat BR20 BIS was a WWII Italian bomber prototype, but only 15 were built. The package features FSX compatible gauges for the VC and the 2D panel as well as new smoke effects. I also remedied the transparency problem of the VC. The original model was made by Franzesco Giuli, new panel configuration by Michael Pook.

The R3Y was powered by 4 turboprop engines driving counter-rotating propellers. It flew first in 1954. It was originally designed as a patrol bomber and was designated XP5Y. Later, the Navy decided it should be used to haul personnel and cargo and was designated R3Y-1. This mega package is a panel and slight interior update for the terrific R3Y designed for FSX by Paul Clawson. It features the default livery by Paul Clawson as well as seven beautiful liveries by Lazarus Starkweather. The focus of this update lies on an entirely new VC design and a new 2D panel (the original package didn't have one) matching the VC as closely as possible. The FDE has been optimized, so now the aircraft gets airborne in decent time. New smoke effect adds to a more realistic appearance of the model. Most of the gauges have been adapted from the Boeing XC-105 bomber by Georg Diemer. All credits go to Paul Clawson, Lazarus Starkweather and Georg Diemer for the great original model, the additional liveries and the gauges. New VC and 2D panel, smoke effect as well as FDE optimization by Michael Pook.

Ushuaia Malvinas Argentinas International Airport Package, Argentina, Part 1 of 2. This small international airport was opened in 1995, replacing an older one. The airport has been used by various distinct airlines at different periods. It is the world's southernmost international airport and is often used by passengers as a cruise-ship gateway to the Antarctic. Includes animated cars and people. Photoreal scenery and terrain mesh included. See also part 2

FSX/FS2004 British FAA Corsair I Britain’s Fleet Air Arm took delivery of ninety-five F4U-1s as Corsair Is and 510 F-4U-1As as Corsair IIs, under Lend-Lease arrangements. Initial deliveries of the Corsair I to the F.A,A. began on June 1, 1943, when No. 1830 Squadron formed at Quonset, and before the end of the year seven more F.A.A.squadrons were working up on Corsair Is and IIs. These underwent several modifications in British service, and sorne 16-in. was clipped from their wingtips to permit below-deck stowage on the smaller British carriers. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub
