Design to meet the medium/long course where the '47 would be half full. Unfortunally fuel crisis and the existance of the DC-10, made the Tri-Star a losing battle for many carriers. This old lady (62 years!) is still in service and has no real competitor. The B52G was an evolution with the wing redesigned and new engines. Original model by Alphasim.
