Lockheed U2 S Senior Span/ASARS variant. Optimised for FS2002. Full animation of flaps ailerons rudder and elevator, landing gear, spoilers and airbrakes, rolling wheels, full lighting (including the double fueslage top beacon lighting of the Senior Span variant) taking advantage of FS2002, Pilot and Instructor in full pressure suits. Pogos vanish independantly of the undercarriage before take off but do not support the aircraft in ground operation (this is due to myself wanting a realistic landing without the Pogos providing support as per real life), however the undercarriage track has been widened so that taxiing is possible. FSX Update for Paul Clawson's FS2004 XF-108 Rapier
FSX Update for Paul Clawson's FS2004 XF-108 Rapier
7.93Mb (1882 downloads)
The XF-108 was designed to be a Mach 3 long range fighter primarily to escort the XB-70 Valkyrie. It originally had a simple delta wing and a delta shaped canard above and behind the cockpit. A mockup was built based on this final design but the project was canceled just after the mockup was approved in mid 1959. This is an FSX update of the FS9 model by the late Paul Clawson and features an entirely remodeled and improved VC and a 2D panel matching it. It was quite a project to get the VC to look somewhat like a real panel with pretty much authentic gauges. However, the interior still looks kind of basic with its green color and plain texture, which, unfortunately, could not be altered in any way. But as the aircraft looks really awesome, I considered it worth giving it new panels. Thanks to the late Paul Clawson for the original model. Also thanks to Philippe Wallaert for his excellent and authentic XB-70 gauges I've used in the panels for the most part. Credits also go to Erwin Welker for the extra camera views. The model may work in FS2004 and in P3D, but I'm not sure. New panels and FSX update by Michael Pook.

FSX Military Aviation Organisation Mission Scenery - Base 444 Spacecraft Crash 05262011
2.43Mb (1882 downloads)
Base 444 is a top secret base used for the development of "unmanned" spacecraft. The test vehicle "Sleigh 2" launched on its first test flight only moments ago. Unfortunately, there was a design flaw and base operations lost contact with the craft almost immediately after takeoff. A small flame could be seen on one of the booster rockets after the craft launched; this is thought to be directly involved with the accident. The booster rockets were jettisoned 10nm away from Base 444. These rockets were designed to propel the craft into the upper atmosphere before being jettisoned into the Atlantic Ocean. The jettisoned booster rockets have been recovered. The craft however, has not. You are a part of a specially selected team that works specifically with the operations at Base 444. The craft's tracking devices have failed and it's unclear where the craft may have landed or crashed. But that much is guaranteed; radar contact was to be made from Edwards AFB once Sleigh 2 was 50nm away from Base 444 - this never took place. Sleigh 2 is somewhere on the ground within 50nm from Base 444 in an unknown direction. The faulty booster rocket may have thrown off the projected heading of the craft. It's up to you to locate the craft at its crash site. Join the FSX Military Aviation Organization to post pictures of your mission and to fly online with other members at www.fsxmao.com
