This upgrade to Mike Stone's F-111C aircraft adds a Weapons System Operator Panel with Working TERRAIN FOLLOWING RADAR scope that shows accurate ground mapping ahead of aircraft in 5, 10 or 15 mile ranges, THREAT WARNING DISPLAY shows airborne AI aircraft in 20 or 40 mile ranges, Ground Attack RADAR displays airports as ground targets and ground terrain in ranges of 5,10,30,80 and 200 miles. INS panel displays digital readout of latitude, longitude, and altitude, TFR and TWR gauges automatically change brightness between day and night to match lighting conditions. New Autopilot and Lighting control panels. The aircraft have the missing Nav, Tail and Beacon lights added. The cockpit lighting has been change from white to red and the formation lights have been changed to their correct color. A new afterburner effect has been added. FS2004 or 2002 scenery - Arecibo Observatory & surrounding hills, currently operated by the Cornel University, is a big object in the Arecibo area, in Puerto Rico, and can be seen from quite a distance. It is close to the Arecibo airport, ICAO designation ABO (ARE in FS2002). The observatory is used for radio-astronomy, and the spheric dish is 304 metres in diameter. ("Spheric" as opposed to "parbolic"). The "receiver-transmitter" is in a gondola suspended over the dish by three sets of cables, which are suspended from three towers. The Microsoft FS2004 site has testimonials claiming the existence of the observatory, but it only exists in FS2000, where it is quite poorly done. Author: Fern Marques. 111K

FS2004 Venom FB1 and FB2 Update. This is an update of the FS2000 Venom FB1 and FB2 by Roger Hardy (required here). I have updated the flight dynamics, and added nav lights, the ones from the model file are hard to see in the day time. I am also including an alternative panel from an F-35 by Chuck Dome that I have altered a bit. These aircraft while originally made for FS2000, now work fine in FS2004 so when asked to 'disable non compatible features?' in FS2004 click No!. Bob Chicilo. 748K
