FS2004 or 2002 scenery - Arecibo Observatory & surrounding hills, currently operated by the Cornel University, is a big object in the Arecibo area, in Puerto Rico, and can be seen from quite a distance. It is close to the Arecibo airport, ICAO designation ABO (ARE in FS2002). The observatory is used for radio-astronomy, and the spheric dish is 304 metres in diameter. ("Spheric" as opposed to "parbolic"). The "receiver-transmitter" is in a gondola suspended over the dish by three sets of cables, which are suspended from three towers. The Microsoft FS2004 site has testimonials claiming the existence of the observatory, but it only exists in FS2000, where it is quite poorly done. Author: Fern Marques. 111K

At the time of merger, US Air had 24 Boeing 757-200 in it's fleet. The fantastic new FSX Native Boeing 757-200 from TDS includes high detail model with ground servicing and more. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic Boeing 737-800 VC cockpit blended with Ken Wiggington's revisions. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. FSX/P3D > v4 McDonnell-Douglas Boeing MD-11 El Al (Leased from World Airways) package with virtual cockpit and working Honeywell FMC. Israeli flag carrier, El Al, operated the MD11 between 1998 and 2000. This is the new native FSX AI MD-11 model from FS Painter MD-11 model made flyable in FSX and P3D with the Thomas Ruth DC-10 VC added. Also used the characteristics of Thomas Ruth A330 for better flight dynamics. Edited views for cockpit viewpoint, contact points to fix wheels sinking into ground and air file so that this aircraft will now take off. Added textures by Brian Wheatley. 2017 update of the Alphasim CF-105 (www.virtavia,com) in FSX native, MDL X materials and animations: Updated materials and glass, added spec maps, texture wrap applied to radome. Dragchute added on water rudder command. Missiles on dropable object conditions, flying/exploding when it hits. Sparrow II model included, matches modeled armament.Missiles only show from a saved flight with weapons loaded, saved flight included from San Nicholas out in the channel Islands west of Catalina. Overall, a much better presentation.

This is an update to the ai-malcontent AI 10 Tanker for fs 2004. Included are the Thomas Ruth DC-10 2d panel, the HJG DC-10/CF6-6 sounds, the Stefan Liebe auto-land gauge, the Nigel Richards fire retardant effects and texture thumbnails. 2D panel only, NO VC panel.
