Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area inspired Arthur Carhart, a US Forest Service official, to initiate a plea for Wilderness preservation as early as 1919. Finally in 1975, three years before his death in 1978, the Flat Tops were designated a wilderness area. No wonder he found the area so entrancing: behind Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them a vast subalpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra with an average elevation of about 10,000 feet. This is the Antonov AN-2 static airplane to be put by an object placement tool in any scenery in FSX. The plane comes in a library (Russian green)or as a model (mdl). The Antonov AN2 was modelled in Gmax by Guy Diotte and the texture by Guy Diotte.

FS2004/FSX Gloster Gladiator. The Gloster Gladiator was a British-built biplane fighter; its last such fighter. It was used by the Royal Air Force. First flown in 1934 it was rendered obsolete by newer monoplane designs even as it was being introduced to the RAF in 1937 with its new enclosed cockpit and four guns. Two models are included here, the Mk1 and the Mk2, the main difference between them being the use of a three blade prop on the Mk2. Modelled by Dave Molyneaux.

Boeing 747-400F Polar Air Cargo current livery freighter package. Assembled and upgraded for FSX with the developed B747 VC (virtual 3d cockpit) from Alejandro Rojas Lucenda. This is the Project Opensky 2014 updated FSX native Boeing 747-400 CF6 cargo model, and includes - ground cargo servicing, opening nose section, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility) and more. I have included 747 engine sounds, with realistic jet whine to make your flight sound great. Upgraded using the vastly improved Boeing 747 VC from Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND (See panel docs for details). VC includes FMC, EICAS, MFD with control panel, GPWS, working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel crossfeed, landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches. FSX/FS2004 Focke-Wulf Ta 152H The Focke-Wulf Ta 152H was a World War II German high-altitude fighter-interceptor designed by Kurt Tank and produced by Focke-Wulf. The Ta 152 was a development of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 aircraft. The first Ta 152H entered service with the Luftwaffe in January 1945. Total production,including prototypes and pre-production aircraft has been estimated at approximately 220 units,but only some 43 production aircraft were ever delivered before the end of the European conflict.These were too few to allow the Ta 152 to make a significant impact on the air war. Pave Tack now provides sharp detail close up views in steps to 20NM and has full 1 degree increments with freedom of panning.
