FS98 Los Angeles. Greater Los Angeles Metro Area for FS98, Version 4.0 This is a combination of several projects to enhance the default Los Angeles metropolitan area in FS98. Twenty airports have been done in detail: LAX, PSP, BUR, ONT, SNA, VNY, EMT, TOA, FUL, CPM, HHR, SMO, SBA, WHP, POC, CCB, AJO, RAL, SBD, and LGB. This scenery adds over 500 roads to the area, greatly enhancing the look at night. Mountain additions and city enhancements have been included from previous versions. For the AlphaSim/Virtavia freeware F-105D Thunderchief - we are a group of ex-USAF fighter pilots who enjoy the formation and tactical aspects of FSX/P3D in multiplayer mode. Our small group of real-world Thud pilots helped us modify the config and air files to more accurately replicate the real Thud in certain parts of its envelope. Examples: thrust curve now approximates the J75, and speed brakes have correct drag profile. For those of you who appreciate military accuracy, you can now fly the Thud on approach at 190 knots, dirty with boards out, and 96% throttle will hold. Or, execute the dive bombing profile the Thud used over North Vietnam - as those pilots did, boards out in a 45 deg dive from 12K, A/B in all the way (if the Thud was hit, A/B couldn't always be engaged - hence the hedging by engaging A/B early and using boards to maintain correct speed in dive). One piece of tactical advice: the Thud is no dogfighter, but it is The Supreme Drag Racer. Unloaded with burner down low, nothing can catch it. Keep an eye on the fuel gauge, know where your tankers are. We've also removed the clutter in the interior model for better sim forward visibility (who doesn't loath those crazy rear-view mirrors?) - look for that one to be posted soon. "No Guts, No Glory."

CFS2 B6N2a Model 12 Ko Tenzan. The B6N2a Model 12 Tenzan INJ Carrier Attack Bomber. Built as the replacement for the B5N Kate, it entered service in large numbers in 1944. This version has the Mitsubishi MK4T Kasei 25 1850hp Air Cooled engine and One Type 97 13mm dorsal machine cannon, one Type 97 7.7mm ventral machine gun. CFS2/FS2000 North American AJ-1 Savage. FSDS2 Model, air file, Aircaft.config, Panel, Textures. and Object_dp, by Jim Jacobson: Released as freeware-January 2004. The AJ1 Savage was a stop gap bomber used as a naval nuclear naval deterant between WWII and the arival of full jet bombers. It was part prop and part jet with twin radials on the wings and a allison turbo in tail. It never saw combat but was on ready alert and carried the MK15-Mk39 series of gravity nuclear bombs from the decks of US Carriers. After the arrival of Full Jet bombers the AJ Savage series was refitted for naval Tanker duty. The AJ Savage was decomishioned and saw its last action as civilian Fire bombers.
