This is a way to install freeware aircraft that I have for FSX Steam - and so far is working for me using a laptop with Windows 7 64 Bits. Not tested on other operating systems(Windows 8, etc etc). Military AI Works Elmendorf AFB V2, icao - PAED. /Flight Simulator X/, AI flight plan BGL has not been converted to FSX, they are in FS9 - FS2004 format. You'll have to convert them with AI Flight Planner to FSX. The C-12F prop textures have been replaced with FSX compatible propeller textures.

CFS2/FS2000 North American AJ-1 Savage. FSDS2 Model, air file, Aircaft.config, Panel, Textures. and Object_dp, by Jim Jacobson: Released as freeware-January 2004. The AJ1 Savage was a stop gap bomber used as a naval nuclear naval deterant between WWII and the arival of full jet bombers. It was part prop and part jet with twin radials on the wings and a allison turbo in tail. It never saw combat but was on ready alert and carried the MK15-Mk39 series of gravity nuclear bombs from the decks of US Carriers. After the arrival of Full Jet bombers the AJ Savage series was refitted for naval Tanker duty. The AJ Savage was decomishioned and saw its last action as civilian Fire bombers. FSX Piper Chrokee 140. Legacy (CHEROKEE.ZIP) by Rien Cornelissen for FS2000, (PA28_140.ZIP) by Ken Ettie for FS2002 and Daniel Mandato Alves's (PA28AACSP.ZIP) for FS2002 have all come alive once again, now in FSX. The Piper PA-28-140 "trainers" we all knew in the '70's and '80's flew well and were favorites, not usually seen now in FSX "freeware fleets." Along came Horst Paetzold's (HPCHEROK.ZIP) 2D panel and a perfect/completed set of pieces arrived, if only they were all in one pacakge? This PA28 Cherokee trainer package is a compiled set of those pieces and represent what I believe you might still find today on most airfield rentals, only now you can fly them in FSX.
