FS2002 Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base as it appeared in 1972 during Linebacker I and II. The Linebacker bombing campaigns were instrumental in bringing an end to the war in Vietnam. Korat RTAFB was the home of the USAF’s 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, which flew F-105D Thunderchiefs (“Thuds”) and F-4E Phantom II fighter bombers against ground targets in North Vietnam. Korat also hosted a variety of other aircraft types including the F-105G Wild Weasel, the RB-66 Destroyer, the EC-121 Super Constellation, and the A-7 Corsair II. Korat RTAFB was adjoined on the south by Camp Friendship, a US Army logistics and support base. Note: This scenery requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray (here). This is an FSX/ Acceleration update of three Cold War Russian Sukhoi jet fighters, The Su-7, Su-9 and Su-11, originally designed by Brett Hoskins for FS2002/ 2004. The package features new VC and 2D panels, corrected smoke effect and FDE optimization to make the models flyable in FSX. The Su-7 VC is only static with non-functional gauges, the two others are fully functional with all Russian gauges. Thanks to Brett Hoskins for the terrific original models, to Aaron Swindle for the sound and to Erwin Welker for the camera views. All FSX updates and panel configurations by Michael Pook.

This is a rework of the default Vagar Airport which represents the airport close to its current state. Vagar Airport is the only airport in the Faroe Islands and is the home base of Atlantic Airways. Added gates and helipads, aprons and taxiways moved/adjusted to match aerial views, runway 13/31 extended to 1779 m / 5902 ft., turning circles added to the ends of Runway 13/31, control tower and fire station added, fuel truck added, runway lighting updated, airport views are from the roof of the control tower when in tower view. Made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor).
