FSX Nord Noratlas repaint textures for the wonderful J.F. Martin Nord Noratlas, which you must have previously installed in FSX. In memory of the twelve smokejumpers and one forest ranger who were tragically killed in Montana's Mann Gulch fire, trapped in a blow up that moved so fast it consumed 3000 acres in ten minutes. Honoring all of our world's firefighters, this Montana Dept. of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), Forestry Division Nord Noratlas smokejumper transport aircraft, N7549F, in dark blue, incorporating excerpts from the smokejumper's prayer, celebrates the history and grand traditions of all the smokejumpers, as well as firefighters everywhere who bravely jump into what all the rest of us run from. CFS2 TBY-2 Seawolf. Competing against the Grumman Corp. to provide a replacement for the Douglas TBD Devastator torpedo plane for the U.S. Navy, the Vought Sea Wolf was proved to be considerably superior to the TBF Avenger. Like the Avenger, it had a long internal torpedo bay and a revolving dorsal turret for a rear-facing gunner. Despite a U.S. Navy decision to procure the type without delay, Vought was unable to produce enough aircraft from its limited capacity. This led to a contract being awarded to Consolidated Aircraft for 1,100 TBY-2 Sea Wolfs, though VJ-Day cancellations resulted in only 180 examples being made. Requires Roger Lowery's RAF662 Lancaster and Keith Clifford's Lanc15 AJG Dambuster aircraft. Scampton is by Terry Baldwin. Panel revision contains briefing maps based on Paul Levesque's CFS v1 map. Dam attack maps included. A simple navigation panel. Thanks to Chuck Dome for the navigation GPS gauges, to Scott Macmillan for the program to produce continuous recording FS98 engine gauges for AJG.
