First appearing in 1947, the AN-2's was first dismissed as obsolete, due to it's biplane layout and homely looks. But the "Annushka" would prove the naysayers wrong.... and how! The biplane layout proved itself, and there wasn't much the AN-2 couldn't do, whether as a passenger, cargo, parachuting, crop spraying, or spec ops plane. FSX pilotable battleship BB-39 USS Arizona from Chris Herring/TopFlightSimulation. His FS-modell is accuratly detailed and provides a complete and detailed virtual navigation bridge. The FSX-upgrade provides FSX camera definitions with sixteen decks views, three external views and three VC-views which allows you to explore the huge ship: Stare at the 16 inch guns, look to the medium casemat guns and visit the catapults with the Kingfisher float planes. The He-178 was the world's very first jet aircraft, whose maiden flight took place on August 27, 1939, just before the outbreak of WWII. It was a very small aircraft but reached a top speed of well over 400 mph, more than any fighter at the time. However, it never made it to mass production and never went to service, because the Ministry of German Aviation didn't consider it a useful weapon as it was too small and didn't have enough range. So after some test flights the project was abandoned. The package, originally designed for FS2002 by the team of geocities/ thedrachensnest, features a completely re-designed VC and 2D panel as well as FSX compatible smoke effects. It includes two models, a prototype and a fictional (what if?) repaint. Credits go the team mentioned above for the original model. Flypad Gauge Version 2.0 This gauge has been developed on Win7 for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1.It should also work with Acceleration, but this is not guaranteed by the author. The gauge is a little extra addon based on the design of a smart phone and provides 9 different displays which are different from all of the standard gauge displays on a regular aircraft panel. It is mainly helpful for the user flying small propeller aircraft, and old timer aircraft. However, the displays are as well attractive for sim pilots flying modern jet aircraft. Use it as if you just grabbed to your smart phone during a flight and check on the status of your aircraft, or how the terrain awareness situation looks like, how the AI traffic on the radar is, while you proceed with your flight plan. Enjoy the new design of a simple aircraft attitude display during an ILS approach. A new screen for LAT/LON coordination control and distance/bearing calculation has been added to this version in addition with a number of improvements.
