The Boeing E-3 Sentry is a U.S. military airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft based on the Boeing 707 that provides all-weather surveillance, command, control and communications. It is used by countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia and NATO air defence forces. It is distinguished by the disc-shaped rotodome above the fuselage. Production ended in 1992 after 68 had been built. The Royal Air Force operates seven E-3D's, with CFM56 engines, designated Sentry AEW 1. This aircraft is for FS2004, it includes High Quality DXT-3 Photoreal Textures, Re-Entry and Launch Models with Tank and Solid Rocket Booster. Flight also included for launch at the Nasa Shuttle Landing Facility. The Flight Dynamics have been tweaked for better performance in flight, and launch. A great way to get to the sims limits of 99,000 within less than an minute. Somewhat realistic but overall alot of fun. A must have for Virtual Nasa Simmers. Repaint, Reconfig, and Pack by Hunt. Because my last Airbus A380 was enjoyed so much i decided to make a V2 version with many improvements :) This is my Edited/Updated version of Luis Quintero's and Project Airbus Airbus A380 V2. Upgrades include: fixed lift problem where the flaps gave too much lift and made the stats more realistic. This plane comes with VC by Thomas Ruth. It has a new custom sound set, a new 2D panel to look more realistic, a pushback/taxispeed function and a functioning FMC. This is an update for FSX acceleration of the F-86 hard wing (full vr) by Kirk Olsson. I have redone the flight dynamics, changed the vclight, changed the smoke effect, and added or changed gauges as necessary. This aircraft has both 2D and virtual cockpits. This is the whole aircraft. I eliminated the limited vr aircraft as they looked the same as the ones here but had a black rectangle where the gunsight is in the virtual cockpit. Bob Chicilo.
