Republic's immense and powerful P-47 Thunderbolt was one of the truly great fighters of World War II, built in greater numbers than any other U.S. fighter. In combat, the P-47 was an effective air-to-air fighter, but it was an even more effective air-to-ground weapon. It had great diving speed and a tremendous payload capacity. Take-off in an Agusta Westland helicopter from a very interesting fictitious Montenegro Resort airport LYDR with a cliff edge threshold to search for a crashed helicopter in a deep mountain ravine and rescue any possible survivors. Another surprise rescue awaits you on your return but you can decide if you wish to carry it out or not. The Westland is a very easy chopper to fly. Flying Realism is set to relaxed and the Crash Behavior set to "User Specified" so you don't have to worry about it
ending your mission if you happen to clip a tree or land a bit too hard. Enjoy the beautiful orange Montenegro sunset and the scenery.

The Swiss continued development of the MS.412 when French involvement stopped following the June 1940 Armistice. The D.3802 was based on the MS.540, with a Sauer YS-2 (1250 hp) engine. The prototype flew in the autumn of 1944. After being retired from operational use as a fighter, the type remained in service as a trainer and target tug until 1959.
Tested in FSX Acceleration, FSX and FS2004, Windows 7 and 8. GMAX model by A.F.Scrub.

This scenery includes dense, custom ground vegetation, high
quality custom models, 5 hi-res (LOD19) photo real airports, and 6 hi-res
30cm/pixel Craters and Buttes in the surrounding area. This scenery was developed to be fully compatible with FTX/ORBX CRM. This scenery is also compatible with default FSX and FTX Global, but ground textures may not blend as well. All Photo Real imagery has been completely recolored from its original state.
