FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXVII

FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXVII
The Supermarine Seafire, or Sea Spitfire (the official name), was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter fielded by the Royal Navy. The Seafire F Mk XVII was a modified Mk XV; the most important changes were the teardrop canopy, reinforced main undercarriage which used longer oleos and a lower rebound ratio. This went some way towards taming the deck behaviour of the Mk XV, reduced the propensity of the propeller tips "pecking" the deck during an arrested landing and the softer oleos stopped the aircraft from occasionally bouncing over the arrestor wires and into the crash barrier. This is a new model by A.F.Scrub. It is fully working in FS2004 and FSX.

B-17
Flying Fortress Panel for CFS2 with interior views. This
panel has the look and feel of a vintage B-17 instrument panel &
this panel is not intended to be an accurate reproduction of a true
B-17 panel. The BMP's are as close to the real aircraft as my limited
ability could do. There are a total of 9 different views. This panel
was specifically designed for the truly magnificent B-17F by Herbie
G. and is based on the panel he provided. It should operate in any
B-17 sim used in CFS2 and has not been tested in FS2000. By: Romulus

.Avionic is one french real & virtual aviation web site. A pioneer
of early aviation, the H.P.42 was the first true intercontinental
ailiner. It was crude by the standards of the day, but sturdy
and reliable. Only 8 were built, but they all flew in service
for over 10 years, with the lead ship logging over 1 million
miles! They retired without a single fatal accident. Custom
panel included. Original aircraft by Mike Stone . Repainted

Slightly Tweaked Version of AK Scrub's I-153 Chaika wearing a skin by Oldwheat, Larry Brown: Pilot - Textures for the AF Scrub CFS2 Polikarpov I-153 flown by Lt.Red'ko Vladimir L. in the Finns Gulf area, September 1941. Larry's other skins fit perfectly as well.
While I was mistaken about Oldwheats I-153 skins fitting the old I-15 (fixed gear)exactly (the bottom wing isn't quite right), they work perfectly on this model.

FSX Bowers Fly Baby

8.36Mb (1345 downloads)
This is an FSX update of Ron Wanttaja's FS9 Bowers Fly Baby, a homebuilt aircraft originally built in the 1960's. There are four different models and nine textures including the latest texture added by me. Main updates are to the panels, replacing FS9 with FSX instruments where necessary and adding thumbnails so the aircraft can be previewed in FSX. It's just a fun little airplane to buzz around in. FSX Consolidated PB2Y Coronado Updated
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
4.36Mb (1345 downloads)
The Coronado was the only 4 engine patrol bomber in US navy service at the outbreak of WW2. I t served very well with it's 5000 mile patrol range. Over 200 were produced and it served into 1942 when it was gradually replaced with the Martin Mariner. This is an FSX panel update for the FS2004 Consolidated PB2Y Coronado Flying Boat by the late Paul Clawson. It features both an entirely new VC and 2D panel. The contact points have been corrected and smoke is included now as well. Thanks to Paul Clawson for the original model. All FSX updates by Michael Pook.
