FSX Flushing Meadows. Flushing Meadows Park or Flushing Meadows, is located in the New York City borough of Queens, between the Van Wyck Expressway and Grand Central Parkway and stretching from Flushing Bay, at the southern edge of LaGuardia Airport, to Union Turnpike. I decided to create this add-on for Flushing Meadows Park for all those flying into/out of KLGA. The default scenery is somewhat buggy with flashing objects and misplaced objects and I decided to try my hand at some scenery development. This is my first scenery developed for flight simulator and am quite please with the results. The models for the Unisphere and the 1964-45 World's Fair Pavillion and Towers are new models created using Google Sketchup. The Tennis Center stadiums,Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, and the Queens Museum of Art are the excellent Google Earth models. Photo Satellite Scenery is LOD 17 (1 m) with hand placed autgen. I also added in the new Yankee Stadium located in the Bronx outside of FLushing Meadows Queens. Currently no night or seasonal textures.

Repaint of the stock CFS3 P-51D in the colors of the 343rd FS by Bryan Britt. Also included is a repaint of the cockpit.This is just the basic paint scheme, there are no designating numbers on the fuselage or tail. 983K

FS2004 QuiNhon Air Base, Vietnam, Late 60's Scenery. A detailed model of QuiNhon Air Base as it appeared during the late 1960's at the height of the Vietnam War. Qui Nhon was a major transport base and port facility. Note: This scenery was designed for FS 2002, but it should work in FS 2004. However, due to minor changes in the FS 2004 coastline contours it may not line up precisely. Requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray (here). George Knowles. 623K

FSX Huntsville PhotoReal Scenery Package Section B. This is high resolution, 1Meter/Pixel, terrain scenery for Huntsville, Alabama. This section, A, features the Tennessee River and portions of the Redstone Arsenal. This photoscenery is for DAY USE ONLY and will work for any season, but shows only the USGS aerial photo data taken in 2002. The default FSX mesh works well with this photoscenery and no additional mesh for the area needs to be purchased. This is one section of the overall which includes sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L totaling 410 square miles in 946 mb. By Jim Jones. 72MB

FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit The default FS2004 DC-3 is configured for three fuel tanks, whereas by design the C-47/DC-3 had four from which to draw. Many airlines using the DC-3 commercially blanked off, removed or never installed one tank in order to maximise payload; they were usually operating shorter routes than were typical of the C-47 in military service, This conversion kit gives the option of restoring the aircraft to four-tank configuration, giving greater range for long duration flights. Offering realistic fuel management, this option can replace your default configuration or, alternatively, add four-tank aircraft to your DC-3 collection. Note that this file will only be of use to those pilots who like to set up fuel and payload properly before a flight; pilots using default FS settings of maximum fuel and full payload will find that the aircraft is over maximum takeoff weight in this configuration.
