This is an FSX update of Ron Wanttaja's FS9 Bowers Fly Baby, a homebuilt aircraft originally built in the 1960's. There are four different models and nine textures including the latest texture added by me. Main updates are to the panels, replacing FS9 with FSX instruments where necessary and adding thumbnails so the aircraft can be previewed in FSX. It's just a fun little airplane to buzz around in. Updated for FSX by R.E. Wyman.

This has been updated to provide corrected markers for the entire 15000 foot length. Just unzip into your Orbiter directory; this will provide runway distance markers for Canaveral Runway 15/33. Markers are at 1000 foot intervals from the end of the overruns at both ends counting from mid-field. This adds new textures and updates the canaveral.cfg and Base.cfg files. It is recommended that you first backup these files, particularly if you have made custom versions of these files.

In 1916 Explorer Edrain de la Fuente found the incredible island with the chained budda. He told of the strange "fog" which emanated from the shore in front of the Temple and provided a little map of the area. It was not until 1999 that Ashrow Mundrecon found the document and asked the Chinese government for a permit to visit the area....it was denied. Now, in 2011 the Prime Minister of China, an archaeologist from the University of How-Kome, has allowed his schoolmate, Dr. Vilanova DeVecchi to proceed with an expedition to the area of the lakes where the island mentioned in de la Fuente manuscript says it is....Are you to be the Chief pilot in this quest??? or what?

Los Angeles International (LAX) Scenery Enhancement,
0.38Mb (1337 downloads)
FS2002 Los Angeles International (LAX) Scenery Enhancement, By Bill Melichar This is a new update to my previous LAX2k2 scenery! During a recent flight out of LAX, I noticed some faults that I made in my first LAX scenery enhancement LAX2k2.zip. This is a whole new enhancement which once again does the inside of the airport more properly placing the palms in clusters at the corners of the parking structures as they really are. I've also made the lighted entry pylons much taller, and rounder, and in a larger circular pattern resembling the real ones. One of the newest things I added to this enhancement was to place concrete tarmacs at the gates around the main terminals, something I could not get Microsoft to do. This scenery also includes a much better grass texture, and I've also added a section of the 405 Freeway going both directions to make for more dramatic night landings. A section of Century Blvd. has also been added going around the airport over to Linclon Blvd. 360K

FS2004 Fairchild F-91 Package: In 1935 Pan American engineers working closely with A. A. Gassner developed this amphibious aircraft that was to be known as the Fairchild F-91. It was an all metal shoulder wing monoplane intended to carry eight passengers. The aircraft featured fully retractable landing gear . While a very attractive airplane only eleven were ever produced with two of those going to the Brazilian subsidiary of Pan American for use on the Amazon River. Two F-91s went to the Japanese Navy for testing and were used as liaison aircraft. The last F-91 produced was purchased by American Millionaire Gar Wood who had it named “Wings of Mercy” and painted in RAF colors. He donated it to the RAF and they sent it to Egypt to perform SAR duties. Model, VC Panel, Panel, flight dynamics & Textures By Chris Herring. 5.9MB
