FlyPad 2 Gauge
(Category: FS Gauges > FS Gauges)
4.00Mb (1291 downloads)
FSX, Flypad Gauge Version 2.0
This gauge has been developed on Win7 for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1.It should also work with Acceleration, but this is not guaranteed by the author. The gauge is a little extra addon based on the design of a smart phone and provides 9 different displays which are different from all of the standard gauge displays on a regular aircraft panel. It is mainly helpful for the user flying small propeller aircraft, and old timer aircraft. However, the displays are as well attractive for sim pilots flying modern jet aircraft. Use it as if you just grabbed to your smart phone during a flight and check on the status of your aircraft, or how the terrain awareness situation looks like, how the AI traffic on the radar is, while you proceed with your flight plan. Enjoy the new design of a simple aircraft attitude display during an ILS approach. A new screen for LAT/LON coordination control and distance/bearing calculation has been added to this version in addition with a number of improvements. FS2004
Beech Bonanza Panel This is an update for the panel originally
made by Horst Paetzold for use in the great VFD-1948 Beechcraft
Bonanza 35 by John Recker. Horst's panel had you flying from
the right hand seat and because the original shot was taken
from the doorway, it was skewed on an angle and made you feel
as though you were flying 'sideways' all the time. So using
a bit of graphical magic I changed everything around :-) It's
not perfect but I like it a lot better. You will need Horst's
original panel package called 'hpbonpnl.zip' obtainable here.
Just install it as instructed, then rename the panel.cfg file
something like panel_old.cfg. Then just copy the bmp and panel.cfg
files that are contained in this zip into the panel folder of
the aircraft. This will leave Horst's bmp intact so if you prefer
the original version ;-) you can go back to it. Happy flying.

A.F. SCRUB YAK-3M-82
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
4.48Mb (1291 downloads)
In an attempt to increase performance while avoiding the overheating problems of the VK-107 and VK-108 liquid cooled engine variants, the single "Yak-3M-82" was built, fitted with the Shvetsov M-82 two-row fourteen cylinder radial engine, used on the La-5 fighter, and first flown in May 1945. Performance was very good and the aircraft was extremely agile, but with jet fighters coming on line, there was no push to develop the concept further, and the project was abandoned in October 1945. One test pilot classified it “as the most manoeuvrable fighter in the world” after one flight.
