FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Automixture Gauge For four-tank operation, this gauge may be of interest to those pilots who like to fly without checking the "Enable automixture" function in the "Aircraft/Realism Settings" pull-down menu, but want more DC-3 realism than can be achieved with FS2004's simulation of mixture control. It requires prior installation of Beaumont and Bitzer's Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit, to be found in DC3_4TK.ZIP. Its purpose is to replicate the auto-rich and auto-lean settings on the mixture controls, including a fully functional mixture control. Its calibrated range of operation is from 3000 to 12000ft. density altitude. In the auto-rich position, it approximates the checked "Enable automixture" setting on the "Aircraft/Realism Settings" menu. In the auto-lean position, the mixture is leaned to increase the exhaust gas temperature about 30 degrees K. from auto-rich, and will increase achieved miles per gallon. Guatemala in very mountainous, some call it the "Switzerland of Central America". Full of Volcanoes and mountains cover the whole country, the Western Part particularly so. I have "made up" some pretty hairy "airfields" where you can just go and risk your "Cyber neck"---- Since Bush Pilots do their own navigation most of the time and fly in some rugged areas I decided NOT to make a MISSION for FSX, but rather leave the flying to each pilot. maybe you can have a Risky Weekend flying the dangerous skies of Guatemala!!!!!!!! You will find some fields "going uphill!!!" and others on " top of a leaning hill"......sweet hu?????...you should clean and shine that Super Cub, Porter, Auster, or similar or if you really want to have sweaty palms and a running stomach...try the Cessna 182 or 206!!!!! If you really want to hear the "razzle dazzle" of your knee bones as you push pedals try some of these fields at Dusk!!!! and if you want that sweet little piece of loving girl you got as co-pilot to shout her beautiful chest out and cause a sonic boom as you land try getting to some of these field at Night!!!!...Yup!!! some are lighted!! or something like that (??)..... Don't gas up the machine to the top...fly light!!!!

FS2004 Flying Ship Hughes H-4 "Spruce Goose". This updated version will work also in FSX and has improved detailes, a corrected shape and improved FDEs. The Hughes Aircraft Company H-4 was due to WWII designed as strategic airlift; the biggest flying boat ever proposed as troup transporter. Lack of Aluminium the world hugest aircraft was made almost entirely of birch wood and this made her communly known as "Spruce Goose". It was a joint project of Henry J. Kaiser and Hughes Aircraft Company. By 1944, it had lost its strategic importance. Howard Hughes himself made only one test flight with ground effect in about 10 m/33 feet height and for less than one mile, on Nov.2,1947. In the 80th the "Spruce Goose" was displayed in Long Beach/California under a large dome and next to the former ocean liner "Queen Mary". Since 1993 the "Spruce Goose" can be visited in the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum McMinnville/ Oregon. The model comes with a photorealistic 2D panel and the VC showes the complete cockpit including all the crew desks and equipments and the passenger seats for the invited persons of the test flight. When on water surface, special animations sends a motor yacht to the exit door whilst Howard Hughes waits for the boat. The wonderful Boeing 737-800 from Project Opensky will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect.
