The Curtiss Seahawk (SC-1) was an American single-seater ship borne scout aircraft of the Second World War first flown in 1944.It entered service in late 1944 and served to the end of WW2 and for several months afterward. The Curtiss Seahawk was a low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by a Wright R-1820-62 9-cylinder radial air-cooled engine and armed with two 0.50 inch calibre machine-guns mounted in the wings.
