Messerschmitt Me-334 Komet
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
13.38Mb (1223 downloads)
FSX/P3Dv3 Update. The Messerschmitt Me 334 was a German proposal with a piston combat engine, designed by Alexander Lippisch. In the same line as the Me 163, powered by rockets, Lippisch designed a tailless fighter to be propelled by a Heinkel turbojet engine. The slow pace of development of reliable turbochargers forced Lippisch to redesign the Messerschmitt Me 329, the aircraft to be powered by a single inverted V-12 piston engine Daimler-Benz DB 605, mounted on the nose and driving a thruster thruster on the back of the Pod fuselage, through an extension shaft. The half-assembled wings would have pulled back 23.4 °, accommodating the main retractable landing gear with internal elevators and external ailerons at the trailing edge. Slots on the outer front edges would have improved performance and low speed handling. The planned armament of two MG 1313 (0.512 in.) Submachine guns should have been housed in the roots of the wings. Appointed Me 334 by the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM), the development was abandoned by Lippisch with the advent of Lippisch P.20 . Vc gauges, sound and other improvements made by me, all the merits to its creators. Enjoyment...

missions set for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1

20
missions set for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1 All required
elements includedThis is a 20-missions-set located around northern-france
in the time from May 1944 until the end of war in Germany in 1945,
flown by axis-side. I didn´t build a truly historical campaign, but
there´s a headline: The march back of the german forces from France
to the "Defense of the Reich", the fall of the "Third Reich". The
Luftwaffe has been in a defense role. Airfields and key positions
of the Wehrmacht have been under permanent attack. The Luftwaffe started
operating from improvised airfields. A reflection of "like it could
have been" is what you get with this campaign. You will suffer under
multiple attacker-waves, high altitude dogfights, difficult take-offs
and landings from a road, heavy-to-master ground attacks,Bomber-raids
at night and of course you will fly that great Fw190´s and Me262a1
included into the package!!! By Mathias Pommerien. 1.5MB

Misiones ARGENTINA Dedicated to my friend Javier Maluf, pilot
of this aircraft in Egypt The MD-80 v2.0 brings a new aircraft
fully compatible with FS2002. You will find that we've completely
redone most of the model, making it completely Gmax. It features
the latest reflection including dynamic shine, lighting, and
animation technology including accurate flaps, landing gears,
and thrust reversers and dynamic wing views. This is only the
first in a line of MD aircraft. Next will likely be the MD83
or 87 as well as the DC9-51. The FDE is the superb MD80 FDE
by Sam Chin with modifications by Mike Baumann, and the model
is by Jonathan Stewart and Erick Cantu. Textures by Erick Cantu

FS2004 SeaDrome
(Category: FS2004 > Scenery)
1.33Mb (1223 downloads)
In the 1930's Edward R. Armstrong dreamed of building floating airports across the Atlantic Ocean. Aircraft of the era would have used these seadromes for rest and refueling stops. The idea was studied by the U.S. government but deemed unfeasible. This scenery file includes links and historical articles about Armstrong's grand project. Also includes AI flight plans for use with T-Tools v2.02. Created in AFCAD by R.E. Wyman.
