The F3D was not intended to be a typical sleek and nimble dogfighter, but as a stand off night fighter, packing a powerful radar system and second crew member to operate that radar. Original AlphaSim's models converted by LLS. Slight modifications for more convenient operating the aircraft in the VC are applied like adding many better tooltip texts for gauges, adding some extra gauges as well as adding cosmetic improvements are implemented like better and new lights, some repositioning of gauges in VC, automatic Anti-Skid enable to prevent wheel locks during braking and some more. Also some documentation files of the F3D has been added such as a new kneeboard reference file. Furthermore two new extra liveries for the F3D are provided plus a 'new' sound set. All modifications and enhancements are tested in P3Dv4+, but the F3D also does work in FSX. For a full credits list see file Flanker256.txt in the Docs folder. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing 737 sounds included for that extra realism. I have added the great textures by Triadi Sudarmawan. CYXX (2012) portrays the , (British Columbia, Canada) Airport - home of the Abbotsford Air Show - and surrounding area as it appeared in late 2012. Abbotsford lies just east of Vancouver and only a short distance north of the US border. CYXX is home to Conair Aviation (a large operator of forest fire-fighting air-tankers), Cascade Aerospace (a major aircraft maintenance operation) and several helicopter training, service and operations facilities.) The recently completed major runway and taxiway extensions are reflected in CYXX (2012). This add-on includes a large selection of custom AI and static aircraft painted to represent airline and privately-owned aircraft based or often seen at CYXX, including every aircraft type currently operated by Conair. CYXX (2012) is compatible with BC Roads (FS9 only), Vancouver+, ORBX FTX USA Canada Pacific Northwest and both FS9 and FSX versions of Ultimate Terrain. Generally, this new version is visually identical to its predecessor - even though quite different internally. As well, to the extent possible, it is compatible with Prepar3Dv2.

This DC-3 was placed at the entrance of Nassau Intl Airport in the Bahamas after being stored for some years. It was found on the ocean bed after it was bought to be used as a prop in the movie "Into The Blue" starring Jessica Alba. Uses the default FSX DC3. Textures by BahamasFlyers.
