FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit The default FS2004 DC-3 is configured for three fuel tanks, whereas by design the C-47/DC-3 had four from which to draw. Many airlines using the DC-3 commercially blanked off, removed or never installed one tank in order to maximise payload; they were usually operating shorter routes than were typical of the C-47 in military service, This conversion kit gives the option of restoring the aircraft to four-tank configuration, giving greater range for long duration flights. Offering realistic fuel management, this option can replace your default configuration or, alternatively, add four-tank aircraft to your DC-3 collection. Note that this file will only be of use to those pilots who like to set up fuel and payload properly before a flight; pilots using default FS settings of maximum fuel and full payload will find that the aircraft is over maximum takeoff weight in this configuration. Wiley Post flew his Vega "Winnie Mae" around the world in 1931. In 1932 Amelia Earhart, piloting a Vega, became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. FS2000 Cessna C-177RG Cardinal Originally designated the 172J, the 177 has an unbraced catilever monoplane wing that makes it easy to identify from it's 172/182 siblings. It's sleek airframe and 180hp-200hp Lycoming engine makes it fairly fast and it is perfect plane for cross country flying. This is the retractable gear version and it is designated 177 RG. Cardinals were made until 1978. This FSDS design includes full moving parts, virtual cockpit, transparent canopy with glass reflections and an instrument panel with 360 degree cockpit bitmaps. The TR_A-26C medium bomber is a straight-forward adaptation of my solid-nose A-26B. This model followed the B into service in the Pacific and more commonly in Europe during the last months of the war. This particular aircraft served with the 86th BS, 47th BG, Italy, '45. The glass-nose C served in mixed squadrons with the solid-nose Bs, and also with their predecessor, the A-20. This model is equipped with the a complex panel and bombsight by Mike Eustace. I urge you to read the Panel Instructions and the Bombardier Guide on how to take advantage of these features. The GPS gauge included is for Korea, but any gauge can be substituted in the Panel.CFG file and will fit into the panel nicely. The skin is by the incomparable Sopwith Chameleon, the weapons by Dbolt and the crew figures by Martin Wright. To install simply place all files from the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 Main Directory. This is freeware, but must not be uploaded to other sites or modified without permission. Enjoy.
