FS2004/FSX Blackburn Skua. The Blackburn Skua was a British-built Royal Naval dive bomber and fighter. The first prototype flew in 1937 fitted with a Bristol Mercury radial engine. It first enered service in 1938 - by then all subsequent production of 190 were fitted wth the Bristol Perseus engine. Armament conisted of four wing mounted machine guns and one rearward facing m/c gun on a flexible mount in the rear cockpit. Provision was made for the fitting of a 500 lb bomb on a carriage swinging forward when required. Instead, up to 8 x 20 lb or 4 x 40 lb bombs could be carried on under-wing racks. Although reasonably sucessful initially, it soon proved an easy target to later fighters and so were withdrawn from front-line service in 1941. They were then used as advanced trainers and target tugs until struck off in 1945. Modelled by Dave Molyneaux.

This is an updated and improved version of Tim ‘Piglet’ Conrad’s ‘fsx_curtissP40Q.zip’ package that also includes an improved panel by Mr. Pook and subsequent mods by Mr. Scrub whom have included an extra texture to stand in for the lower tail-plane surfaces (something that was missing in the original offering as only 1 texture was mapped to both the upper and lower surfaces of the tail-planes, thus making it possible to do an extra texture of the semi-camouflaged Evaluation Prototype version. One Texture from Tim’s original offering as well as my previous set and my latest set is included.

FSX/FS2004 Package three mast barque ALEXANDER VON HUMBOLDT II. This beautyfull german tall ship was laid down in 2008 and was launched in 2011. It replaces the ALEXANDER VON HUMBOLDT I, which was laid down 1906 as lighthouse ship and was converted to a barque with green sails in 1988. The package contains pilotable and ai-versions. Both with twentyfour sails or with removed sails. My models are extremly detailed and reaches the limits for compiling to a MDL. Fourteen FSX cameras let you explore the beautyful ship and the virtual decks. Using FS2004 there are eighteen virtual panel lookaround views. FSDS 3.5 model made by Erwin Welker

CFS2 C-47 Tribute to Bob Hope Although a Vast Majority of the CFS2 Community are to Young to Know who Bob Hope is, He Toured with the USO In WW II, Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf War bringing laughter & forever memories to the US troops. I can remember as a kid back in the 60's watching him on some of those tours entertaining troops and making those rough times a little bit more enjoyable in those days of "Conflict". Bob also did more than his part to bring smiles & laughs to a time that the world was making drastic changes for both better and worse, he made things a little easier to cope with.
