FS2004 Aerostar Super 700 - Spirit of Kai Tak. The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin aircraft. The "Spirit of Kai Tak" competed in and won the London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. Even though it bore a USA registration, the team actually was based in Hong Kong (hence the dragon livery and name!) At times during the race they were actually recording over 300 knots airspeed! The aircraft with registration CCCP-77144 was displayed at the Paris air show in 1975 - two years after the sadly accident of CCCP-77102 in Le Bourget. Original design by Thomas Gierse. If you look at a world map and see a group of tiny islands next to the bottom right of French Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean, tagged as belonging to GB or UK, these are the Pitcairn Islands. To actually get there takes weeks by ship as there are no airports and only Pitcairn is inhabited. Well now you can get there much more easily with these little airports in the FSX world. I am using the FreeMesh X Global 1.0 from http://ninetwopro.com/ but most sceneries should work with also with the default or any other mesh. There is a problem with SKSJ and SLTQ: with the mesh scenery the rivers are at a much higher altitude than the surrounding ground; therefore those sceneries would be in a rather deep hole in the default scenery. But with the Airport Design Editor you can easily adjust the airport altitude to the default level.

This is a fix for the Sikorsky S-38. Some simmers seem to have problems with the aircraft leaning left while standing still on water. Also, the aircraft is not controllable during take-off from land. Sorry for the inconvenience. Fix by Michael Pook.
