This scenery is offered as a gift to the Flight Sim community by Team SDB. The scenery is self-installing and includes accurate airbase arrangements and appropriate static aircraft.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. FSadventure Sky "FLIGHT"...No mission stuff here. In 1932 Erasmus's Fairchild Floater zoomed all over the Orinoco River sky. And in many occasions he would stop over at the Babilonia Bar and chew the fat with friends,specially Father Ephrom who wa also a Jenny pilot. On this visit the good father told him an incredible story. He found an unknown tribe up the river and he had even noticed nice looking women!!! So the two desided to to go up and visit the tribe and bring them some much needed medicines for he had also noticed they had a bad rash...Good old times in old machines, bad weather and some pretty good scenery await the pilot who wants to try this flight adventure...not easy but not too hard....Fly man way back in 1932..

CFS2 AF=Midway Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel This package contains the boat that put the Higgins in what people most commonly refer to as the Higgins Boat. Over 20,000 of these small craft were used by the allies. It was these boats that made the D-Day landings at Normandy, the Marshalls, Tarawa, Iwo Jima, and hundreds of lesser-known places possible. Without Higgins' uniquely designed craft there could not have been a mass landing of troops and material on European shores or on the beaches of the Pacific islands, at least not without a tremendously higher rate of Allied casualties. I have included two versions, one with the .30 Cals and one without. Use one or both, I've packaged them both as complete ships for ease of installation. You can also rename it and replace what CFS2 calls the USS Landing Craft Infantry, which is incorrect as the LCI was a much different ship. 267K

FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Automixture Gauge For four-tank operation, this gauge may be of interest to those pilots who like to fly without checking the "Enable automixture" function in the "Aircraft/Realism Settings" pull-down menu, but want more DC-3 realism than can be achieved with FS2004's simulation of mixture control. It requires prior installation of Beaumont and Bitzer's Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit, to be found in DC3_4TK.ZIP. Its purpose is to replicate the auto-rich and auto-lean settings on the mixture controls, including a fully functional mixture control. Its calibrated range of operation is from 3000 to 12000ft. density altitude. In the auto-rich position, it approximates the checked "Enable automixture" setting on the "Aircraft/Realism Settings" menu. In the auto-lean position, the mixture is leaned to increase the exhaust gas temperature about 30 degrees K. from auto-rich, and will increase achieved miles per gallon.
